No it is not the way they have always done it. Four different networks currently have access to the regular NFL service, not one netwrk monopoly, and the NFL ich is accessible over every single cable company and sat provider and to the entire country via broadcast. The poitn is that everybody has access to it. So then you would continue to get it from Dish network if your cable co. couldn't afford it - what is the problem? Like i said, it doesn't have to be one or the other. No it hasn't always been that way. the way it has always been is that the NFL gets an antitrust exemption from congress for broadcast rights as long as they make it available to everybody in the country who can get broadcast. This represents a new way of doing things because it very definitely excludes tens of millions of homes who can't get it.
I think that we all agree that the situation sucks, but is there anyone that's getting it that would be willing to sell their online access?
