I need one for my desktop. I don't feel like spending a lot of money, so I'm looking for the cheapest, half decent LCD monitor that I can find. Any suggestions?

I am currently surfing the net on my recently-purchased 19" Acer Widescreen LCD, which has been a damn good monitor thus far. Pricetag? $140 shipped from CompUSA.com

You could try asking your Office Depot if they have item number 288510. It's a 22" wide Acer LCD that should be on clearance. I picked up two last week and they're great monitors. Might all be sold out by now, but worth a try. And no coincidence, I did find that deal on FatWallet, a great site if you're looking to get bargains on stuff.

Apparently no edits? Anyway, sorry I forgot to mention price. It was 179.03 and you can try using coupons if you can find some or try matching Staples and OfficeMax coupons. And not available online.

I'm using my 22inch Samsung with 2ms response rate for the first time right now.

1680x1050 resolution. Looked amazing in BIOSHOCK>

CompUSA now has a deal on an Envision 22-inch LCD Multimedia Monitor for $189.99 (after rebates) shipped for free. Also, you can get a Canon printer free after rebate with the purchase of any LCD monitor.

There might be even better deals out there, but that's the one I got in my e-mail this morning.

If they're widescreens, they're kinda puny if you're getting a 17 or 19". I looked at a 21" widescreen to replace 2 20-21" non-widescreen and umm... no. I'm probably going to wait for the 24" screens to come down in price.

Wow! There really is a huge price jump up to those 24" screens, isn't there?
