I use shower gel. I never could get a good lather with a bar and washcloth. I usually got just a thick layer of soap on the rag.

I usually use either Dial or Old Spice body wash.

I could never use a Loofah --- anything that just hangs there wet in the bathroom waiting for the next usage makes me cringe.

Old Spice - High Endurance or Dial body wash

A mixture of whale blubber, lye & ashes from my bbq pit.

    With lavender extract, of course.

Original Safeguard and original green Prell.

Two of the most caustic cleansers for a human.

The pink Dove body wash, with a loofah. It makes my skin milky smooth.

I know just what you mean, so I'm going to warn you about Dial For Men Shower Gel. Instead of that "filmy" feeling of bar soap, this particular gel gives you more of a "slimy" coat

The woman had me try some of THESE and they are really nice.. I still cringe at the price per bar so I don't use them all the time, but THIS ONE is my favorite and it makes your body tingle..

I believe the Spanish term for loofah is: estropajo (spelling?)

I use a bar and the brand is Dial. I have used it for years; however, my wife tried to get me to use an Old Spice Body Wash. I tried it a couple of times but didn't really like it.

I've always seen those labeled as loofahs. This is a washcloth:

I can't stand bar soap. I use liquid body wash, usually Axe brand, and a loofah thing. I've since been told that what I actually use is not, in fact, a loofah..

    Its one of these:

Try it. It exfoliates and leaves me feeling a lot cleaner. You won't go back to bar soap, I guarantee.

And I'm not gay. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Yeah, I use the net thing too. Good lather and better exfoliator.
