They didn't really change anything, but being together and familiar with each other counts for a lot when it comes to o-line. They have great chemistry, with Salaam and Pitts on one side and Winston and Weary on the other, all having played together last year. Flanagan and Mckinney are both solid up the middle, and having Mckinney provides nice depth. Carr was part of the problem, not necessarily all of it. The o-line has never really been a unit.
Offensive line was never that bad, they just didn't like Carr. Thats why Shaub is trying so hard to be a leader so they'll work hard for him. I made a post a while back where my brother spoke to one of the texan's at a hooters one evening at a 610am event and confirmed this. Regardless, it can be seen in videos where Carr gets sacked and his own teammates just walk right over him instead of helping him up. Its no secret he was unliked.
