I love all of this except for your D(granted I have no idea how good SF will be on defense but you have to figure they wont be too good right?)

I don't know... Defense was the most inconsistent for me last year. I would just trade defenses during the season when I saw weak opponents. Seattle and Oakland are still available right now. I figured the 49ers defense would be a lot better this season because of Nate Clements and that other dude.

Nate is good but definitely isnt worth the top 5 CB money he is getting. He is in the top 10 though. And Michael Lewis is overrated, they benched him in Philly last year because he couldnt cover the pass. They also got Patrick Willis in the draft but hes a rookie and a question mark. This defense has potential but is inexperienced and i think it will ultimately fail. If you want to know something, try the Texans defense. I am dead serious, after the first 3 games when they stopped flip flopping Mario's positions. We were ranked in the top 10 for the next 13 games and I honestly believe we will be much better. But then again since this is fantasy football and turnovers is what gives you poiints we suck at getting turnovers :(

If Brodie Croyle starts, I'll switch to the Texans.

What other RBs were on the board when you picked 2nd/3rd? Do you remember? I have #2 in a 10-team league and was hoping to go RB w/the 2nd pick and then WR.

Btw ... anyone in a Yahoo league? They changed the rules to where passing TDs are only worth 4 points, and you only get 1 pt for every 25 yds passing. Also, rushing/receiving yds get you 1 pt per 10 yds now, instead of 1 per 20.

With these new rules, I'm thinking VY might be one of the best QBs to take. I figure if he runs for 40 yds a game, that's worth a passing TD right there. And everyone else will be hurt by the 1 pt per 25, more than he will. I'm hoping to not take a QB until the 6th/7th round, so I'm hoping he'll be available.

    E. James, T. Jones and C. Benson, the guys I was looking at for my second pick, were all gone by that point. I think the highest rated RB still available was Portis. I did enough mock drafts to know I had a decent shot at Deuce and Norwood a couple rounds later.
