Trade in PS2/Xbox at Gamecrazy for 100 bucks off PS3/360... maybe maybe no

    I just called the GameCrazy store here in Pearland and another one in Houston (on Wayside) and both guys quoted me only $30 for a XBox console trade-in plus $50 bonus towards a PS3 or 360. So it looks like you can only get $80 off of a 360 or PS3 here in this area. If anyone has better success in getting the full $100 anywhere locally please reply.

    Looks like the offer may only be 30 in this area. But the 2 stores I've talked/been to don't even admit to the 50 dollar bonus

    I just swung by the GC out here, adn they said $80 off a PS3 with the trade-in of my old-style PS2.

    dont know what the difference is if you trade a newer(thin) one.

    the guy asked me which one it was before answering.


    Unfortunately, 300 of the 450 I have saved for a PS3 is in BB gift cards. :(

    anyone wanna do me a solid and buy em from me ?

    Hey Miguel just replied to your post on the CAG forum. I called the store in Pearland on 518 (E. Broadway) and the one in Houston on S. Wayside. I have the name of the guy in Pearland if you want it for reference (PM me).

    I know this is relevant to you Houstonians, but I just called the local GC here in San Diego...he said it was 50 bucks and that's it...so I'm not sure where the 80 bucks is coming from. Hopefully soon, someone will actually go the GC and do this deal, this way we can get at least some form of validation....

    the 80 is valid for our area.

    The guy I talked to isnt just some random dude, but a guy I have known for while, and since he is the assistant manager, Im pretty sure he knows what he is saying.

    So did you end up getting the $30 (trade-in value) + $50 (buy up bonus) = $80 total or the $100 as in other regions?

    slim ps2 = 50 dollar trade in value with 50 dollars bonus credit towards ps3 or xbox360

    simple as that.

    Still playing NGB on my regular Xbox though, so it's not too bad.

    PS3 on the other hand, simply lacks the game for now. I'm running Folding@Home alot lol
