me being a female and all.. i have to say that since i have been married things have been great.. we were together for four years before we got married and marriage has made everything in our relationship better..

not that we have sex everyday all day...

but its a good balance of things....

I believe this was after the book in an interview he did. Here's the excerpt I found online discussing what he says if his wife is not in the mood:

"Honey, you don't want to have sex? You're not in the mood? How about a blow job?" [If she isn't into that, how about a] "hand job. It feels so much better when she does it, why should [you] do it?"

Gray, in a later book, says that men and women are just inherently different when it comes to sex and that all women want romance and sensuality and all men want hardcore, down and dirty.

From experience, I've met plenty of women who would just as soon hit it and quit it or enjoy rough, nasty sex as much or more than sweet, passionate lovemaking. Women just approach it differently than we do. It also is a not insignificant difference that it takes women, generally, longer to orgasm than men because the mechanism for their stimulation isn't as easily defined as guys.

I don't think you can blame it all on kids - although I'm sure that they don't help.

I've been married for about 10 years with no kids. The frequency was pretty high at first and then slowed down, but I would think that we've emptied the jar of marbles by now.

Factors in the slowdown?

1. My wife working.
2. After a long while, it's just not as exciting / enticing with the same person. It takes longer to build up the same amount of desire.

Interestingly enough, we do it almost every night while on vacation, compared to a couple times a month while at home. Maybe it's the change in location, or maybe we just have nothing better to do?
