Ok since My other thread went somewhere. . . i dunno out there
    I'll try again

KT went against the PREMEIRE Power Forward in the game
    AND HELD HIS OWN!!!

an I don't give a d*mn but the Refs f*cked him on SEVERAL
    occassions.

Head to Head KT Vs. Duncan

Min FGM-A FG% O D Reb ast stl to blk pts
    K. Thomas 35 7-15 46.7% 2 7 9 2 0 5 2 14
    Duncan t- 40 7-21 33.3% 5 4 9 2 2 3 0 19

Duncan Scored 5 more points -FROM THE LINE I MIGHT ADD [read REF RESPECT FOR DUNCAN AND LACK OF FOR KT]

Can Some please give this man a Little Respect

Sometimes in the game He seems like the only one hustling
In the third he and Glen Rice had a spell where they were
    the pt of the offense.

Kenny Thomas is tied with Mobley for the Rockets' second best player so far this season.

I've been a Kenny Thomas fan from day one. Preaching to the choir, brother.

    *glowers about ccnet*

SOME of you should admit how wrong you were!

I have always liked Kenny. Even this past summer when he was trade bait in every single trade scenario thread in this BBS, I'd always warned against getting rid of him.

Third year is often the breakout year. And he's in great shape now...

Kenny Thomas came to camp in very good shape amd ready to play. He is a unique player- now less weight, with fast foot speed to the basket- he is strong and quick. A very good combination -he seems to hold his own well against much bigger men. If only Kenny was 6" 11".

I like Kenny. I'd like to keep him and dump Glen Rice fat 9 mil contract, get rid of Jason Collier, and Walt Williams.

More than anything, I like the fact that his FG% is way up this year. He's not a liability taking shots at the 4 spot this year. You don't want your power forward hitting just 40%.

    Props to KT.

He's more than held his own in possibly the most competitive position in the Western Conference this year.

    Keep it up KT!!!

The best thing I see about KT this year is that he can actually finish his shots, unlike last year when I always cringed when he was goin to the hole.
If he continues to improve at his current rate, what will we do with two quality PFS? Possible trade bait next year?

I would imagine that KT would be humble enough to accept the backup to MoT when he comes back. (tho I would rather keep Kt as the starter)
This of course is assuming that eddie puts on enough weight to supplant Lamo at the 5. oops, that should be CATO..I guess
otherwise... maybe eddie could be our franchise pf and we could get trade MoT

I was watching the Suns/ Magic game last night and a guy that reminded me of Kenny was Rodney Rodgers. He can shoot the 3, so when the D ran at him he drove to the basket a lot. He's prolly KT's closest comparison.

I think KT has better moves and has great touched on his perimeter jumper and not to mention that he's a better defender.

Well let me be the first to eat my words here. I din't like KT his rookie year. I hated KT last year when imho he was no better than in his rookie year. The thought of him being the starter this year brought shivers up my spine when MoT went down. Thank god I'm not the GM, cause this cat is ok. He's finally learned how to finish his drives this year and thats made all the difference. He shed that baby fat so he could compete with quickness and it's payed off big time. So now, without futher hesitation, maybe just a little salt, there we go.....gulp.....consider them eaten! :D

I was really not looking forward to KT as the starter, but now I'm excited to watch him play. He seems to be getting better and better with each game, and I'm left wondering why we don't get the ball to him more often, especially with his ability to draw fouls. I'm thinking pretty soon his numbers are going to be better than Mo's. This guy has a lot of heart.

Everyone knows I'm not the biggest KT fan , but he has been playing very well. I'm glad he stopped shooting that bs 3 pt shot which I don't know why Rudy had him shooting that anyway. I hope he continues to play well.

Would it be possible since he is loosing weight and moving faster on his feet to ever give him some good minutes at the small forward position...I know he could of held Steve Smith in the San Antonio game. Although I doubt that it will happen.

... and I remember when KT was a 275# tub o lard. I didn't figure an 18 year old kid could have 'baby fat', but I guess he did. KT's downright skinny these days.

My boy's doing good. I'll just repeat what alot of you've been saying: "Damn, I wish dude was 5 " taller.

umm...I think Kenny's playing well enough to keep starting after Mo gets well. Mo can just play the 5. OR maybe Kenny can be a 5? The guy has some serious hustle. 14 rebounds against the LAKERS? Are you kidding me?

Don't laugh. It wasn't long ago, alot of you would have been happy starting Pig Miller, and I doubt he could put up numbers like that. I think Kenny's the real deal. Wouldn't you agree that a KT / MO front court would make up for in hustle what it lacks in height? Plus it would keep Cato in his natural position: riding the pine.

Yeah, yeah, you can't teach height, but apparently you can't teach Kelvin Cato to play center in the NBA either.
