I'm really impressed with this guy, I think he'll be the #2 reciever pretty soon

His size and speed are oustanding. I can't believe this guy went in the third round. He looks like a top ten pick out there. We could really have a killer duo on our hands. Not only that, if Mathis has turned the corner as a receiver we are really going to score some points because Owen Daniels looks awesome and Green still looks quality. It's exciting! :D

if this does translate to the regular season, then kubiak and company have done more in two drafts than casserly and company did in 4. they've hit on every one of their 2-4 picks: ryans, spencer, winston, daniels and jones with fred bennett being the only question mark. and if schaub is for real, then he was worth the 2 2's.

it makes the possibility that they blew their first-ever pick (and i'm not making that declaration yet) even more mind-blowing because they seem to have a terrific eye for talent.

Does anyone have a video of that punt return?

With the way Kubiak is talking, Diles is a lock for a roster spot and definitely 1 out of the 6 linebackers. Shantee Orr is looking like he will be cut.

Hopefully his success doesn't stop us from pursuing Robert Ferguson. Those 3 would be one hell of a core. And the Oline is actually buying the QBs some time. I still don't have much hope for this season but at least we'd have some consistent big play weapons.

I know it's odd, but a lot of times things don't exactly work out like that. The Broncos missed on a lot of 1st round picks when Kubiack was there(especially in the WR/CB category), yet they had an excellent record of linebackers, offensive lineman, and running backs in the mid-to-late rounds. I was amazed during the 90s how many solid Packer players Ron Wolf manage steal in the middle of the drafts. Yet he also rarely do well with top picks.

Ferguson is most likely going to be signing with the Vikings.

Ferguson is a Viking. Trotter would be a downgrade from Ryans. My Eagles buddy tells me Trotter's knees are shot to hell.

I can't decide if Jacoby is going to be a major diamond or if he's sucking us in like Mathis did.

Dare I ask... is Jacoby Jones better than Andre Johnson? Andre is a really good receiver but Jacoby just looks like a natural playmaker. His two TD catches were fantastic. The punt returns were electrifying. Do we have two Pro Bowlers on our hands at wide receiver? It sure looks like it.

In my opinion, if Andre were in Torry Holt or Chad Johnson's situation, he would be breaking records left and right.

The dude as physically gifted as T.O. and works as hard as Marvin Harrison.

My two favorite AJ plays are the quick screen on the line of scrimmage where AJ basically stiff arms the DB into the dirt and gets 10 yards every time and the high floater in the endzone were he out jumps everybody and their momma.

If Schaub is a player, Andre will be a beast.

Jones looks great and all...but lets not get carried away. He did it all in PRESEASON. Lets see how he does in the regular season before we start calling him a pro-bowler.

Trust me, I want him to be as good as he looks. But I can't get too excited. I'm always scared of the "Kelvin Cato Effect."
