Miller is the real deal in case no one has noticed 19pts 9.7asst this yr. Steve is real to, so why would Clev trade Miller for Cat? I think Jordan will make a run at Miller if Steve refuses to go home. Othe than the thought of losing him for nothing, i don't think Clev is crazy enough to trade Miller.

Why would we want to do that?

Your whole career stats vs career stats is bunk.

Those numbers are skewed in Francis's favor because he never had to come off the bench like Miller did his first year. If you want to compare numbers, compare the numbers of their last two years.

Are those numbers comparable? Yeah. Is Miller a good pg? yeah. But I'd rather have Francis.

I'm not a big fan of Mobley's, but he is pretty good and he did sign for less than market value to play for Houston.

Houston does not need Francis to be a great passing PG. Houston needs players who know how to finish on isolations.

Francis and Mobley want to emulate the Detroits teams that won two titles...well those teams didn't have great passing guards, but they did have players who knew how to isolate and score (Aguirre, Dantley, Dumars, Edwards, Johnson, Thomas). More importantly, those players took turns with isolations.

I do not want to see Francis pass more...in fact, I want to see him attack the basket. He's too talented to play a Kidd's kind of game.

Houston should break up the isolation plays into quarters: Rice (on the low blocks) in the first, Mobley in the second, any player with a mis-match in the third, and Francis in the fourth.

And also, with Cuttino gone, maybe Francis wont go out as much and his headaches would go away:)

Trading cat is not the answer to all of our problems we just need a big man and this team will go places. We dont need Miller or Mihm all we need to do is let Griffen mature and get a quality center. Which i think Cato might be if he can stay from being injured.
