Hate to go against the Rocks, but Shaq vs Cato is enough to keep you up at night. And save the '...but Cato blocked Shaq's shot in a game..." responses. All dogs have their day but they're still dogs when all is said and done.

    LA 92

    Shaq 32 pts, 20 rebs, 4 blocks
    Kobe 24 pts, 8 rebs, 8 assts

    Hou 83

    Steve 22 pts, 8 rebs, 8 assts
Rice 50 pts, 12 rebs, 3 assts, 2 steals, 1 block, 10 boxes of popcorn sold, 20 beers sold, 14 aisles swept, 12 cars parked, and a big "Take that LA" :D

I predict that Kobe & Shaq will have more assists than Steve, Cat (or Torres), Rice & Cato.

I'm picking Houston to win. I think they've embarrassed themselves enough. The team is a bit manic depressive and they've been in the trough for a while now. Its time they run high for awhile before getting sloppy again. Lakers will go down.

Rockets 96, Lakers 94. Glen Rice hasn't had a break out game for the Rox yet - I'm banking on him lighting it up against his old team.

Cato & Willis hold Shaq to a mere 20 points and 16 rebounds. No one can contain Kobe, though.

Francis records his first triple double, dishing out assist after assist to Rice who can't miss. Willis gets 10 & 11, and somehow the Rockets get the victory.

If we play like we did in the 2nd half of the SA game, a close rockets victory. But for some reason I see our guys going " okay, now we know we can score big...lets just take it easy now and only do it when we have to..." Shaq is too big and never gets fouls called on him, and kobe always lights us up(who do we have to guard him?) Our defense has actually been pretty good this year, but our offense(without mobley again) will be the weakness LA 90 Rox 78

I also think Rice is going to explode for a big game tonight(20+ points). Steve will also get his. But I fear that the Lakers are just too strong for us.

I'm also hoping Walt will explode. Literally.

If Mobley plays Rocks 92 Lakers 88
Without Mobley Rocks 86 Lakers 97

    Francis 24pts 7boards
    Rice 17pts
    Mobley(if he plays) 22pts
    Willis 8pts 12boards

    Shaq 31pts 13boards
    Bryant 34pts 9boards

Didn't Kobe shoot 17-20 his last time in Compaq?:(

    Shaq 33
    Horry 2

    K8 unfortunately kills Cuttino. Literally.

If they put Kobe on Francis, then its going to be a long night for us. He has shown he can shut francis and iverson down, but i hope they don't.

I think the Rox will edge this one into a win. They're due to play a little less sloppily - I'm hoping the second half of the Spurs game was the end of the crappy offense for a while. And the Lakers are definitely due for a loss.

And Cato has always played Shaq well, not just a block. The Lakers have had problems with us for a couple of years, but it looks like the Rox know how to finish games now.

Kobe is the only guy I have seen just take Francis and Iverson completely out of their offensive game.
