Whenever the Rockets pass the ball, what happens?

They actually get the ball IN THE BASKET.

Steve, Cuttino, and Moochie should be fined every time they dribble the ball for more than 7 seconds.

Isn't it obvious to them that if they had better ball movement, ie. the 4th qtr tonight, that they'd probably blow away their opponents. Damn, hire me, I'd tell them.

Hopefully they'll also realize Steve and Cuttino aren't the only ones who can score on this team.

Ball movement + third scoring option = Playoffs.

Agreed. This ISO offense totally sucks!

I thought the offense during the Dream/Barkley days was the most boring there could ever be. Just dump it in, everyone else stand still at the 3 point line and wait for a possible last second pass out of the post and shoot a desperation 3. What could possibly be more uninspired and easier to defend than that?

    WRONG!

Enter the ISO era. Dribble, dribble dribble at the 3 point line, everyone else spread out as much as possible(heaven forbid there should be motion to confuse the defense so that all 5 defenders don't glue their eyes on the ballhandler), then finally drive to the basket with little time left so that, if you're cut off, you can make some desperate pass to a teammate who can jack up some prayer of a shot as the clock goes off.

I love Rudy, really, but what a waste of talent! Just add some movement of people AND the ball Rudy please.

We started moving the ball in the 2nd half and look what it got us?

The Rockets are just not playing intelligent basketball right now.

It got us back into the game.

Now if we would've done that to begin with, we wouldn't have been down 25 pts.

I blame Moochie, and that fact Cat didn't play for yesterday. However in general when moochie is in the game there is way too much dribbling. When the rest play together more ,their confidence in each other will grow and they'll pass it more. Hopefully.

Looking in the Chronicle this morning, I was surprised to find that Moochie had no turnovers. However, giving the ball up with 4 seconds on the shot clock so (a) time runs out when someone else has it, (b) teammates aren't ready and can't do anything with the ball when they get it, or (c) teammates are no longer open and lose the ball when they get it is the equivalent of a turnover in my eyes. Time for Moochie to begin his duties riding the pine and Tierre Brown to get a chance.

BTW, what was with the title of the chronicle article the morning before we played the Spurs: "Spurs Going to Whip" . What the hell?;)
