VIP because of people I was with not because I'm so f'n cool. I mentioned that by the way. I know I may be opening a can of worms here but please tell me how I'm full of myself for having a good night and mentioning it. Nobody should ever mention anything good that happens to them on the internet right? I was just building the story. How does reading a small fraction about my night upset you and make me full of myself? This is the kinda stuff that people do these days that I really can't stand. They don't like to see or hear about somebody else having fun, getting something, or doing something positive so they set out to tear it down for whatever reason. I really hate that so please help me understand it better. The thread is derailed anyways, lol so this seems as good a place as any to get to discuss this.

The whole VIP concept is a bit idiotic, in my opinion. But I suppose no one asked me. Why go to a private club with random people and then sequester yourself from everyone with your own little group? It must be the same motivation that makes people buy Bentleys and such.

Why be a hater? Poster was giving anecdotal evidence in his story. Besides there are no private clubs (at least true ones in Houston). This isn't New York. Remember Revere in the old days? That place was legit! All these want to be clubs with the list (ie Red Door, anything in midtown, uptown) are pretty worthless in my opinion.
All of this for a scrub streetballer who can no longer be the coach's pet player. The Skipster played many minutes last year, and most of them undeservedly so. This coming season he will make up for that riding the pine on someone else's team.
Maybe because you spent more time telling us about how you cut the line, went to vip, blah blah blah, than you did talking about the supposed topic of your post. Or maybe just because you told us all of that crap, whcih really had nothing to do with the fact that you claim to have talked to Skip. In other words, if your post had satyed on point, this thread probably would have stayed on point. Just a guess.
Fair enough but see from my perspective all I was doing was building the story of how I came to run into him in the first place while I was out having a good time. How you interpret that it is based on your personal feelings and life outlook. When you read a book, they dont just take you right to the climax. There is a portion consisting of the exposition and the rising action. Besides, only 2 people out of several dozen had a problem with it enough to comment so saying it derailed the thread is off base. I think if you take a closer look you'll find that the thread was taken off topic for a different reason. I gave those 2 comments attention by responding to them and perhaps I should have just ignored them but I didn't in order to bring awareness to something that I feel is sadly a growing epidemic among men these days. cuz ur saying "not to bore u with details" when 80% of ur post is details about VIP or something related. Just tell us what u heard, and i don't really give a rats a$$ about which vip section has the best bottle service and the only reason u were in there was because 1. u know ppl 2. u got money, 3. ur important. We don't need a pic of a flyer, we need a pic of rafer with his grandma, his ID sticking out, and some cops with a warrant with his name on it, and blood type. And he has to be wearing a heat jersey.
What's the epidemic? Cholera? U aren't writing a book, ur making a post. Telling us what u heard is what we clicked on the thread for. Not about skipping lines. Being important, Having money, or knowing people. We don't care how many places u went before. We don't care that u went to the bar right after entering the club. Also, I don't think a scan of the flyer validates you being there more than not having the flyer.
