Blasphemy! Fall Guy kicked ass... I've never spent much time in school But I've taught ladies plenty It's true I hire my body out for pay HEY HEY! That song just oozes coolness...
guess it depends on if you're thinking about it strictly musically or also allowing nostalgia from when you were growing up to influence
who could forget this gem <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ukSvjqwJixw"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ukSvjqwJixw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
610 plays the Airwolf song, that's badass. I agree with both Jeff and A-Train, the seveties has the best, just the black sitcoms kick enough ass, and I don't see how anyone can hate on Fall Guy.
I voted Growing Pains. Has a little stronger sappy emotional feel over the others, and I was an ABC guy. Webster theme and Who's the Boss theme are similarly 30 seconds of ABC heartwarming family time sap. (Woulda considered Cheers but I just dont like the full-length version) Everyone saw "Best 80s theme" and probably everyone had a different top 10 in mind, which is cool cuz it means there was plenty to like. In no particular order my top 10: 1) Growing Pains 2) Night Rider 3) Greatest American Hero 4) Moonlighting 5) Fall Guy 6) Who's the Boss 7) Diff'rent Strokes 8) Street Hawk 9) Perfect Strangers ("Standiiingg TaaAALL!) 10) Hardcastle & McCormick (soo cheesy & typical 80's )

This is an 80's theme song that Jeff can appreciate. It has a kick ass bass line, and might be the only TV theme song ever where a saxophone is the featured instrument.
Some unmentioned and worthynotables.... <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/t5KJJ83MQUg"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/t5KJJ83MQUg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UCRFfQPhBxU"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UCRFfQPhBxU" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4lfUhN6dCQk"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4lfUhN6dCQk" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Wow. Good call on "Gimme a Break", even though it was a blatant musical ripoff of "short people." Regardless, I saw you shoved in the "My two Dads" thingie, so I figured I'd show both of their original shows... EDIT: WOW! I knew Paul Reiser was a loser, but I didn't know he was this bad. We'll go with the other guy's original show... <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5AsqKQptTdQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5AsqKQptTdQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

What's not to love about the 80s? The pastels, the synthesized instrumentals, the sexual ambiguouity.... Best musical decade evar.
