3 guys capable of starting? Rafer really thinks highly of himself. I would have told that b*stard he is not capable of starting in a YMCA league.
Rafer Alston, John Lucas and Steve Novak FOR Michael Doleac and Dorrell Wright The Heat get a true PG and some spare parts. The Rockets get an expiring contract (Doleac) and a promising wing with length (some measure Wright at 6-10 after he grew some more since being drafted). Sounds good to me. Get it done, Morey.
You must be joking. He was arrested for two misdemeanors. A guy worth what he's worth could get charged with murder and still be out on bail inside a few hours.
bibby really isn't a true point guard. he is more of a scoring guard also he really doesn't average a whole lot of a assist. with this in mind it gives me a hope with james and francis all they have to do is by into aldeman's system. think about it this way francis would be our version of bibby and james would be our version of bobby jackson. so the answer to your question is no but this is not bad
Oh he's a cool guy. but he was arrested before, and the ClutchTalibans don't like that. They hate. i only have a problem with Rafer's shot selection and bricks.
Nope he isn't at all. Ask any Sacramento Kings fan on that one. Bibby did one thing extremely well. He ran off screens with Webber and Miller and hit his jump shots. The guy was just a damn good shooter who drained big shots. He ran a lot of give and go with Webber and Miller (almost a reverse pick and roll since the guy with the ball was setting a pick). But he wasn't really running the offense, that really went through Webber, Divac, and Miller in the high post. Plus the Kings offense had so much ball movement that you couldn't trace the offense to any single person. Kind of weird about Bibby though, its like RA's system dumbed him down over time. He was a bright young "true" PG in Vancouver pulling close to 9 assists a game and then he comes to Sacramento, basically starts shooting jump shots exclusively and then he became incapable of pulling off those 10 assist games anymore. Even today, without Adelman, he just can't do that anymore and still just shoots jump shots.
I would take that deal in a heartbeat....but there's no way Miami will give up Dorrell Wright. He's their only young player capable of doing something.
Miami might have to move Jason Williams' expiring contract for help elsewhere. Rafer can move into his minutes if that happens.
He was key because he was a good shooter going around a screen but his assist skills weren't that important considering Webber averaged more assists than him one season.
I'm sure that's exactly what you would have told him. Are you in the thread hating on Aaron Brooks for what he supposedly said(and I hope not because I like Aaron a lot and I like his confidence)? He hasn't even played an NBA game yet
It is very easy to recognize Rafer at a club. Simply line up 10-12 shots very far away from the bar, leave them unmolested, and wait for the guy who runs over and takes them all.
Only because Battier doesn't drink and Chucky Hayes is so drunk that when he tries to take them, he misses completely
