    A bunch of games are coming out in the next few months (I had a list of more than 60 notable titles coming out just on the main 3 platforms IIRC), so there should be more than enough games to grab the interest of people here, no matter what system they have or will have in the near future (well...unless they don't have a system that was released in 2004 or later, although the PS2 may have enough good stuff left). We did lose GTA IV and MGS4, but there are still a lot of quality titles that will be released in their place, including some games that might have gone under the radar before (maybe something like BioShock or Stranglehold). Of course, I guess some games might still be delayed unfortunately....but let's just ignore that possibility. :)

    For reference, I'll post links from IGN with release dates for most of the platforms, although I'm not sure how reliable they are in general with the dates.

    i'm looking forward to halo 3 by far the most. oh man the previews i've read for that plus the time i spent with the demo has got me excited. i'll probably only buy that and nba 2k8 in the foreseeable future. that is unless nba live has made some kind of drastic improvement over the last couple things they tried to sneak out on us.

    there's a bunch of games that look like something i'd want to play but i just don't have the time to invest in anything more than the 2 i mentioned.

    Phantasy Star Universe looks fun.

    Halo 3... IMO best game ever. And I haven't even played the campaign mode since the first one... straight multiplayer for me...

    also...

    NBA2k8, FIFA 08, and maybe Live 08 because of the World Tournament mode... Go TEAM USA!

    I can't believe how much life is still in the PS2.

    Anyway. Highlander: The Game is apparently in development. That could potentially be a very, very well-done game, what with all the back story and all. Imagine a free-roaming game, seeking out the various masters who taught Duncan and/or Conner MacLeod to be, well, themselves. The game could span the centuries and lead up to modern day. The rumble feature (assuming this comes out for PS2 and/or PS3 gets rumble) kicks in and gets stronger the closer to an immortal you get, etc. Could be a great game.

    Madden, Lair, Super Puzzle Fighter (HELL YA!!), Hot Shots, 2K8, Home (finally), SF2 Remix (HELL YA again!!), Jericho (looks awesome but kinda flying under the radar... makes me wonder), GT5p (stunning), UT3 (mouse support!), Fall of Liberty, and Little Big Planet always catches my eye, hopefully it actually comes out someday.

    Nothing. I don't think I will ever buy a damn game for my Wii. I can't believe Nintendo went with battery powered controllers! PAIN IN THE ASS.

    How could they not? I'd be more annoyed with 25 ft cords getting tangled up.

    I guess I don't care so much as I was already enjoying wireless controllers for several years.

    I'm looking forward to seeing if football and basketball translates well to the Wii, it might, it might be crap. Metroid 3, Mario Galaxy, and Wii Fit intrigue me.

    I played Phantasy Star on PC for a while earlier this year. It's fun for about a week, then it gets kinda repetitive. There were tons of glitches which ruined it as well.
