You heard it here...or on Fox's telecast of the game. Calvin Murphy said "The Rockets will be in the playoffs when the smoke clears." I'm with Calvin on this one. Sorry guys, I just refuse to believe the Rockets are a lottery team. The Rockets aren't as bad as their record reflects. Maybe I am being delusional, but I think anyone who thinks the Rockets are a lock for the lottery is just as delusional. ------------------ Tanking is not acceptable. End of story.
I think they are exactly as good as their record. Now that record is tainted by injuries, and they would be much better without all of them, but do you believe that Dream or Rogers or Cato will last the rest of the year. We have an outside shot at the playoffs, but I think Rudy will go back to Mobley in the 4th quarter. That will take the rest of the team out of the offense, cause more turnovers and lose more games. We've had a nice run, but it's only 4 games.

How sweet would it be to make the playoffs? It would be damn sweet. After everyone had written us off, including most Rocket fans...It would just be awesome if we turned around and made the playoffs. I hope Calvin is right. ------------------ Sir Charles is DA MAN.
Call it whatever you want .... but they should aim for a ring. Nothing Less!!!!!! None of this tank the season, lottery draft search, aim for the loss, "if only we .... " business. A real winner, like a world class mountain climber .... CAN easily look down and back, but always CHOOSES to look up and ahead.
