The one standing in the middle is Scola, the one on the right is Garbajosa, who now plays for the Raptors.

Having watched them play together, I can tell you Scola is shorter than Oberto (2,08/6-10) and taller than Garbajosa (2,04/6-8 in ACB League, 2,06/6-9 in the NBA).

I think Scola will be listed as 6-9.

The important question is, who's the blonde?

Well, since she looks to be close to 6' tall, my guess is she is a professional bball player. There is a Spanish women's league and national team.

After some research :D I have come to the conclusion that this woman is Fé Lopez, who does the halftime and post game interviews on the floor for the Spanish Television.

And was the presenter of the 2005-06 ACB League Playoffs.

Either Scola is 6'9 and taller, or Marion is 6'5" because Scola looks at least 3 or 4 inches taller than Marion in that picture. Marion is fully extended in that picture and Scola is hunched trying to go underneath his defenders' oustretched arms. The more important thing to get from that picture is Scola going aggressive against a traffic of defenders....he's not a Troy Murphy...every video I've seen of him, he's going strong to the hole....he's obviously not shy in the post....and he's jumping pretty high considering how high Marion normally jumps and the other team USA member (Lamar Odom?). A more accurate picture is the one of Scola standing next to Nocioni. Both standing straight up, Nocioni comes up to the bottom of Scola's nose....and keep in mind that Scola has a big forehead. Nocioni is listed in the official NBA listing of 6'7"... Scola is at least 6'9 1/2 NBA height ...maybe even taller than that.

Scola may not be the answer to stopping the Duncan's of the world, but he certainly can got at Duncan in the other direction. Ducan and other power forwards could rest by guarding guys like Hayes and Juwan Howard....well, Scola is more aggressive in the post and maybe he might make Duncan commit some extra fouls he might not had he played our power forwards of last year. Duncan would also waste a lot more energy on defense....he's not going to want to guard Yao, so he'd have to guard Scola.
