I'm dying here. Tuning in the Coach's corner to hear Rudy talk about the return of dream, and instead he says Carlos has an more serious injury than previously though. I'm sick!!
they said 6-8 weeks .... I doesn't matter the thing is that Carlos was playing great for us and he was hitting his stride , this is a big blow for us, really is.
I hope this isn't the straw that breaks the camel's back. (For Rogers) I hope he can work hard and come back to play at the same high level he was before he was injured. Atleast it wasn't a knee! Is it on his shooting hand? ------------------ I have a dream.........his name's Hakeem.
I saw Carlos today at Methodist hospital on the floor where the hand specialists are. He seemed really depressed so I didn't talk to him. I thought it was because of his brother but I guess this adds to it. [This message has been edited by sabirk (edited January 17, 2000).]
David Robinson ... David Robinson ... David Robinson ... We will be rewarded in the next life -- on draft day -- for our suffering in this one.
phew!!!! good to know that Bill was exaggerating a little. But 6-8 weeks? Well, I guess it might as well be the entire year... Poor guy. Finially getting a chance to play again after all those other injuries and this has to happen. I hope we can keep him for a long time though. He's definetely an emotional leader, and someone all the other guys can look up to. Oh yeah, he's a good player too. Really needs to bulk up some, him and Cato should do that breakfast club thing that hakeem, barkley, and quitten did last year Damn, does Keith Jones ever get a break!? ------------------ "Somebody hits me, I'm going to hit him back. Even if it does look like he hasn't eaten in a while." --Charles Barkley (don't you miss him?)
well, this was always his biggest weakness. he's never, and i doubt ever will, play a full regular season, or atleast over 75% in my opinion.
He has a torn ligament in his thumb. Could require surgery. If it does, I suspect he would be out for the year. DaDakota
Just to give the final update on this for those away from the Chronicle. Chronicle says surgery, for sure, but places IR time at 3-6 weeks. A little better.
