Who in Houston has the best bar food? I've always been a fan of the menu at Live Sports Cafe, but I recently discovered a place that has to be my numero Uno now - The Bull and the Bear Tavern. It is located at Westheimer and Kirkwood. It's a British Pub, and the menu reflects that, but they also have several other tasty offerings from around the world. The favorite thing I've had so far is the Jalapeno Meatloaf w/ sides of mushy peas and roasted potatoes. Tonight I'm gonna check out the Fish and Chips cause everyone raves about it. Highly recommended for any of my fellow Clutchfans in the westchase area. So whats your favorite bar food? Bull and the Bear on B4-U-Eat
The Bull and Bear looks cool, I will definitely check it out. I like the Roast Boar at this place: Roast Boar Baby
Rudz burger is only a notch below Christian's, Lankford's, and Whataburger's. Just a hair above the woefully underrated Chapultapec and Terlingua burgers.
Since i live right there i might have to stop by and check out their food and stuff. I live right there anyways...forgot you are down by my side of town...we need to make a night of it...
Yeah we do, just let me know one night when you are free and we can meetup there. I am addicted to Silver Strike Bowling these days and they have it, so I'm up there at least 4 days a week lately.
And nobody can beat me in a three game series. As for bar food in Midtown: Live for Pizza Christian's for Burgers, Catfish and Hot Dogs The Wet Spot for a fantastic seafood bisque Pub Fiction for Cheap grub. (half-price foopd on Mon. & Tue. I'm BW3'd out
I think I may stop by there tomorrow for lunch, or if not, at least before I head to the Astros game.
all i know is that the wine bar i went to in bellagio on lake como 2 days ago had the best "bar food" i've ever had.
Tried out this new place in Katy called Wild Wing Cafe. Quite frankly, it blows BW3 out of the water.
Stack24, are you having any football parties after the SuperLiga matches for Dynamo fans? I am thinking of going to the game next Tuesday.
That gets my vote for sure... I had a slice this past Saturday, and may I say, scrumptious? It goes down well with a cold Stella Artois...
