I really want to see this but I know my wife doesn't want too. She doesn't appreciate stupid humor like I do. I may wait and take my kids. Is it relatively kid friendly? I'm pretty liberal about what I let them watch.
I think it has one f*ck and two sh*ts, which is pretty standard for a PG-13 movie Some of the humor was Napoleon Dynamite-ish...kind of off beat, and there are a couple of lines that I had to think about for a second. There isn't a single slow part in the movie at all, though...
i really want to see this and probably will instead of rush hour 3 next weekend. couldn't pick it over bourne ultimatum though. i'm really pumped for superbad, it looks like it could beat knocked up.
I'm a huge fan of 40 Year Old Virgin, Talladega Nights, and Anchorman, but I thought Knocked Up was better than average, but couldn't beat any of the three above. Don't know if it was b/c I was tired from finals or what, but something didn't click for me during that movie. Hot Rod, however, I really looking towards b/c I was a huge fan of Arrested Development and the dude that plays the enemy in the movie.
I saw it last week at a special preview...as stated, kinda Napolean Dynamite-ish and has a lot of great lines, but overall it was alright...Isla is hot...
WHAT? I never said I didn't want to see it! I may not think it's as funny as you would, but if you want to go see it, I would go as well. (Like any good wife should )
Saw this last night, I thought it was hilarious. To get an idea of the humor, check out http://thelonelyisland.com If you don't find their earlier work funny, save your money cause the movie is basically one long skit
