Gametime: Saturday - August 11, 2007 Kickoff - 7 pm What are you looking forward to seeing? QB play? A win? Mario?
its on now. can't wait for the season to get cranked up. I really want to see what schaub can do. usually the first pre season game the 1st gets one or two series, and then get extensive time in games two and three. going to be an interesting season.
I want to see Schaub, Green and Walter against a team with a hell of a defense. I know it will only be a few series for the starters, but it will be good to see.
I want to see Schaub give us some hope. Even if it's just one play, do something that shows us a glimpse of what you can do that Carr couldn't. I want to see some of the players that (if you listen to people who were at training camp) supposedly improved over last year. Mario, Mathis, Faggins, etc. I want to see why Kubiak is so high on Kevin Walter. Honestly, I don't remember anything about him. Of course I want to see our rookies.
I hope Mario has more than 2 tackles like he did last year. He'll probably only play the first and second series though.
I beg to differ about Schaub. Is this the same offensive line and OL coach? YES. He will break the SACKS record Carr has now, and I will say it with a bittersweet taste on my tongue. On the Kevin Walter comment: Owen Daniels is the man.
I'm looking foward to seeing the great american, mckinney, playing guard. Seriously, i want to see if this line has improved.
Pitts pulled his back at practice on Monday and will probably miss significant time, that's a huge setback for an already questionable line. But BRING ON FOOTBALL!!
Time to see if I should buy that Schaub nameplate to paste over my old Carr jersey. Also time to see if someone else took Domanick Davis' jersey cause I still have his from his rookie year.
I am really excited to see Ahman Green. I also want to check out Okoye. I have never been this pumped for Texans season. I guess that is what happens when your baseball team has been out of it since all star break.
I'm expecting an ugly, sloppy game. New QB, old RB who they won't play much, banged up OL , big question marks on defense - it all points to a less than perfect evening. Since it won't be televised up here in JerryLand, I'll catch the highlights on the NFL Network.
Looking foward to it. Since the CBS station here in Austin is "All VY all the time" I'm glad they're still showing us the preseason games. You know, because they're "Austin's home for the Texans."
