If Maurice Taylor is ready to come back before the end of the season, will the Rockets be allowed to bring him back? I know that they got the injury exception because Mo's injury was supposed to keep him out for the season, but say that he recovers early. Will Mo be allowed to play?
Yes. The identical scenario that you're discussing occurred when Sean Elliott and Alonzo Mourning returned the last two seasons.
Yes, Mo will be allowed to play. Miami got the exception for Alonzo and he came back and played last year. B edit: darn Cat beat me
are there any updates on the Mo situtation? A Willis, Mo, Rice, Mobley, Francis lineup is dynomite. With Cato, Griff, Tmo, Moochie, Torres and the Wizard coming offf the bench...that would be a heck'of a ballclub.
Forgive me if this has been asked before. Does anyone with any personal knowledge (happened to you or someone you know, or work in the medical field) of achilles tears of the severity of MoTay's know the best case scenario for a return. I know typically you say "out for the year" with this type of injury, so what are the odds that he will come back? 5%? 15%? 1%? Anyone.....
Supposedly, Mo is working hard to make it back this season, dedicating himself to working out in any way possible. Was that him in the background lifting weights when Mobley was being interviewed at halftime last game?
Stay Mo Stay... We don't need Taylor to come back any sooner than he has too. I know he really wants to come back, but tendon injuries are tough to come back from, and putting stress on a weakened achilles can't be good for him in the long run...We don't need him this season, but we DO need him for the next five. MAYBE he'll get some spot minutes in April, but hopefully that will be it
