    You give it a go, and see what happens, report back here.

    You are responsible for your own actions including speech, if you are going to go into public and say hateful things, prepare for the backlash of that speech.

    That's interesting. So, even in Stalinist Russia, they had free speech. You might be kidnapped in the night, tortured until you signed a false confession, then quietly shot and buried without a trial or anyone even knowing where you are. But, you can say whatever the hell you want, if you're prepared to face the consequences.

    if i was at an airport and saw that i wouldnt really care, i mean its in pink how threatening is that??

    the t-shirt itself to me is inconsequential. i figure if anything if anyone was planning something dastardly that they wouldnt wear the shirt to begin with because it seems to cause a lot of attention to be brought to itself. i am sure the last thing a terrorist needs is a big sign saying that they are one

    Wearing that particular tshirt automatically makes the wearer a 'fanatic'? How so?In this case, the tshirt refers to the 'intifida', which didn't have anything to do with the US (contrary to what DaDakota stated). I can understand the notion of searching the wearer if he/she was wearing a tshirt that said something along the lines of "I love blowing up airplanes/Suicide bombers rock/" et al.

    Btw, I am aware of the events of the last 6 years. Yes, this is the day and age of heightened security and vigilance. However, I don't see how stopping someone who is wearing that particular tshirt aids the efforts to keep us safe. Rather, it further erodes our values, IMO.

    p.s: thanks for the initiation into D&D :D

    Wearing this would be like wearing a "Free Tibet" shirt in China... I suppose you have the right to wear the shirt... but if you get your ass kicked by an angry mob neither I nor the police will come bail you out.

    A guy I knew pulled that crap (before 9/11 mind you) and even then he got in boatloads of trouble. They were just about to kick him off the airplane and question him and his friend. But everyone basically realized that they were stupid teenagers and they were allowed to fly.

    Today, I guarantee you they're arrested and questioned by the FBI.

    I'm not sure why it says New York. I am not uncomfortable about t-shirt saying intifada on it, though. There is a great website called electric intifada that I check out form time to time. I wouldn't mind wearing or seeing others wearing a t-shirt from that website.

    But why intifada New York? The New York part doesn't make sense.

    But I don't think there should be any legal or govt. action against someone wearing that shirt.

    Yelling "fire" in a crowded theatre, kind of. Love the sig, by the way. Not for the Bush-bashing, but because I'm an honest-to-goodness FDR-loving big government liberal.

    Intifada= Revolution=Uprising.

    words that have been mentioned in many songs, movies, and poetry and it does not really bother me.

    Jihad=Struggle

    you can have Jihad with a mathematical equation, a relationship, or a job but since the word has been only used in relation with Terrorism or a Terrorist organization, then it now has one meaning=WAR

    i dont think thats a fair comparison. i hate america isn't inciting violence or any of that sort. its simply a political speech.

    and if private citizens threaten him, we should collectively hold our heads in shame for not teaching people better as a society.

    ??? if someone tells people that they hate them and their values, then we should be ashamed when those people respond in a certain way??

    and intifada is not a political speech. not in its current state anyway. anyone who sees that word will think rebellion or uprising.
