But I am not even sure if the reporter herself translated the answers accurately into Chinese in the first place.

Except for the cruel joke that the OP, sjiang78, made by labelling Tracy's annual charity softball tournament as the annual Chuck Hayes electro-shocking lab, which is not included in the article, and the mistake of putting the words (those comments about the dismissal of JVG) of a female Rockets media officer into the mouth of Daryl Morey, sjiang78 basically did a great job in the translation of that article.

Whether you guys trust the genuineness of this sina.com interview or not is all up to you.....but Daryl Morey was there at the TMAC Softball Tournament together with his family.

This picture is hilarious. It looks like they are talking to each other in two different languages and neither one of them have any idea what the other person is talking about.

I think the reporter did ask him about Rafer. He likely did say much of what he said in response, in fact, he said many of the same things in previous taped interviews, including one with Feigan as the SF press conference that was on tape and posted. I just think he might have left things more vague than the translation indicates (he seems to like to remain vague in his resposnes about future plans in general). For example, I wonder if the "finding a new home" part of the answer was him saying we have nothing specific on Rafer now, but we are trying to find a new home for Lucas, but somehow the change of subject was missed by the reporter. He's used the "finding John a home" phrase several times in the past.

As for what's actually going on? I have no doubt they have been in Rafer trade talks, but it seems he values Rafer highly and would hold on to him until later October if need be to get something decent in return (and he seems confident he'll get something decent in return). I would somewhat but not entirely suprised if Mike James got dealt instead of Rafer.

Perhaps Morey has a few (maybe conditional) trade offers in his back pocket already and knows he can do something about the PG glut for sure?

Hmm...I believe on that Rafer mention on the article. I've been thinking of teams whwere we can ship him...Cavs? (maybe SnT for Pavlovic) Hawks? (maybe for Childress) Celtics? (for their TE...but they're capped out)

 

I heard the Cavs are looking at troy Hudson really hard now . but you would think Rafer is alot , and i mean alot better then hudson. plus rafer has a ok priced contract. it's not like he is humongusly overrpaid anything.

Anyone here likes Donnyel marshall or drew goden??. i just dont like he's contract.Rafer+Snyder for Marshall or gooden straight up. both these trade's works salary wise. value wise i think there pretty even to.
