Basketball is by far the easiest considering if all else fails, you can flop yourself onto the free throw line. That's assuming you can hit the free throws of course.

ummm, there is no doubt to the poll that catching a shuffle pass is doable moreso that getting a hit or making a field goal. I'd catch an NFL pass on the first play from scrimmage.

    what? what am I missing.

oh, I'm missing that this thread isn't about what is doable, it is about whether getting a baseball hit is easier than doing something in football,,,,where the basketball part of the poll is just filler.

    is that not right?

I don't know why you guys are arguing against the NFL shuffle pass being so doable! This is not even debatable, imso.

    now, as for positive yards

let me ask you this....why not discuss running the ball?

is it easier for you, me, us to gain a yard rushing or via a forward pass?

i could invent a cure for cancer if i felt like it.

i rather hit a jumper in dirks face.

i rather take one down the field and have ray lewis chase me.

take a jason jennings fastslow ball to the crawford box.

That's mostly because with the other sports, those instances are so rare and tough to come by. They don't happen 80 times a game, they happen much less and take into account a huge part of why the player who can do that is in the league.

i don't think there's anyway i could get a hit, unless they through me the same pitch over and over until i could time it out.

i could score one basket if they kept me out there long enough. if they sent someone specifically to shut me down and make sure i didn't get a shot, then of course that changes.

i can catch a football but to outrun a db then try to catch one with a hit impending? doubtful.

i'm pretty sure i could get atleast a point against a pro tennis player.

Basketball easily. Put me in a game like the Rockets 40 point blowout vs the Sixers last season in the final minutes of garbage time and I'd probably be likely to make a jumper. Deflated opponents who aren't trying means I'm more likely to get an open shot. Back home I am the T-Mac of my driveway.

Or football. Just have me catch the opening kick off before kneeling so I don't get pummeled. Or a shuffle pass 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage while I run out of bounds again so I don't get pummeled.

In this situation I ask myself, what would Ryan Bowen do?
