That my wife is going out of town for a week on business, it's to a city we both love, as well as being a trip we'd planned to make together since it was scheduled a year ago, and I'm stuck here because my 16 year old prodigy is taking 2 college freshman level American History courses at ACC (one and two, back to back), "to get them out of the way." Stuck. The only relative (my mother) who could have come here (Austin) to stay with the kids is still recuperating from being mugged in April. Yes, feeling sorry for myself. Yada, yada, yada.
