New Season Schedule[Open Season Vs. Lakers TNT]

Nice, 15 National TV apps is a lot.

and we get OPENING NIGHT! YES

ugh we do have a Brutal Schedule though.

 

We will play 3 games vs Lakers, Clippers, Utah and Minne.
Sorry Steve, you can't see Cuttino so often.
And we can't revenge Utah very often.

Strange thing is most of the Suns game are hard. They are back-to-back and next to either Spurs or Warriors. Hey NBA, do you want to kill our players, especially Yao?

 

I'm pretty sure the network can add in/remove National TV appearances like the Jazz last year.

Anybody know how many we had last year?

with NBA TV we have like 23.

 

I don't think we had a lot, with the injuries to t-mac and yao the preceding year the networks shied away from picking up our games cause they were afraid that neither would be playing.

I remember that 1st year t-mac came we exploded in the # of games we had, like we had 1-2 tops with stevie and with t-mac we were tied for the most in the league.

 

What a fun November. Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio, and LAL twice each.

But the home opener is on a Saturday! Road trip back home from UT that weekend!

 

so MY question is:

Will Dave2000 organize a group to go to the home opener like he did for the suite and playoff game 1 last season?

if he does I may have to make the trip out again

 

Does anyone know how many nationally televised games we had last season? I doubt we cracked 10.

 

damn, the schedule is tough.

i'm still confident that if we can gel, we'll be fine.

if not we had 3 tnt games, vs spurs, bulls, mavs (picked up late)
and i believe we did have like the max espn games 10
and no abc games

there were about another 8 or so nba tv games

 

working on it, just checking the interest, I can probably name 10 right now who would be down

also anybody interested in making a road trip for the SA game then make it back into town for the suns game

look out for another suite game, gotta see what they label a "B" game aka the cheaper games

 

thinking of maybe doing the dallas game too..

how about that going to 3 of the first 4 rocket games in 3 different cities!

 

Man, I didn't notice that. This is something that seems to happen with increasing frequency. I think I'm going to have to squat on all the names that look like mine to make sure no one does it to me: Juan Valdez, Juwan Valdez, Mrs. Valdez, etc.

If I recall correctly, it was about 14 games that were scheduled. So in other words, 15 games this coming season is not a huge upgrade.

 

we had 18 back to backs last year, too.

maybe 18 is more the norm than the extreme?

 

Does anyone know when tix will go on sale?
