Eh maybe so. I only catch him a couple of times a season. I consider alot of PBP guys "background noise" so I don't pay much attention to their mistakes. Kinda like when you go to a nice resteraunt and like to hear some nice music while you enjoy your dinner.
NBC rocked! ABC/ESPN sucks balls.. I don't know why they have the p***y cat dolls, black eye peas, etc... are they trying to attract the little girls to watch NBA basketball? NBC intro song still owns to this day!

I agree, the presentation was just outstanding on NBC. Watching those clips kind of makes me realize how much ESPN/ABC do suck.
Of course the sport has declined. But that doesn't mean that ABC has nothing to do with the ratings fall or that NBC is not a superior product. The game isn't as great and the media presentation stinks too. Both are responsible for the modern ratings decline. ABC still blows, NBC is much better. (CBS was before my time)
