    the Gene Peterson 86 call vs the Lakers sent chills through my spine.
    That's what the Houston Rockets were all about. You heard it in his voice.

    Are there any videos of the 1981 Rockets? That team is currently remembered as the last team to ever carry a losing regular season record (40-42) into the NBA Finals.

    I would sure like to see some video footage of Game #3 of that miniseries with the Lakers, especially the final few minutes of it. :D :D :D

    Gene Peterson is great. you don't have to hear exactly what he says to know what happens in the game.

    The emotion in his voice can tell if you if we won the game, lost the game, got fouled, or we got screwed by the refs.

    Thanks Tinman.. That brought some tears to my eyes..

    On a slight tangent when I was in high school I met the guy who brought the Rockets to Houston as part of a career day thing. He told me that when the Rox first got here attendence was so bad that they were giving away tickets on days that they were going to be televised. They would also have the crowd move to different sections in the Sam Houston Coliseum to give the people on TV the impression that there were more people at the game than actually were there.

    Clutch had this posted, very nice video. I wish the Rockets would go back to the old colors or change the color scheme to black, red, and silver.
