You never answered my question. Are you changing the rules to number of all star games selections, instead of appearances? Do ABA all star games count?

Nash went to 4 all star games, but was selected to 5. Haywood went to 5, but 4 were NBA all star games and 1 was ABA.

Ooops. Marion does not qualify because of the 20 and 10 after 97 rule. I'll go with Adrian Dantly instead.

PG Mark Price (4 ASG, white) 18.9 PPG, 8.4 APG, FG% 52.6, 3P% 44.1
SG Penny Hardaway (4 ASG) 21.7 PPG, 7.1 APG, FG% 51.3
SF Adrian Dantly (3 ASG) 29.5 PPG, 5.9 RPG, FG% 52.5
PF Spencer Haywood (4 ASG) 29.2 PPG, 12.9 RPG, FG% 47.6

I'm going to break one rule: pick new players. Why? I'm making a revision for my all-star Cavs team, within the rules.

Best yr stats listed:

Mark Price (4 asg, white) 19.6 ppg, 9.1 apg
Ron Harper (0 asg) 22.9 ppg, 4.8 apg
Lebron James (25 ppg+, '97+) 31.4 ppg, 7 rpg, 6.6 apg
Hot Rod Williams (0 asg) 16.8 ppg, 8.1 rbg, 2 blk
Brad Daugherty (5 asg) 21.6 ppg, 10.9 rbg

I'm going to find an emulator right now and play NBA Jams when Price/Daugherty were in it.

That was a brain fart. I am looking at Aguire's stats and wrote Dantly's name. Those are Aguire's stats. I always get those guys confused since they were similar players and even got traded for each other.

PG Mark Price (4 ASG, white) 18.9 PPG, 8.4 APG, FG% 52.6, 3P% 44.1
SG Penny Hardaway (4 ASG) 21.7 PPG, 7.1 APG, FG% 51.3
SF Mark Aguirre (3 ASG) 29.5 PPG, 5.9 RPG, FG% 52.5
PF Spencer Haywood (4 ASG) 29.2 PPG, 12.9 RPG, FG% 47.6
C Ralph Sampson (4 ASG) 21.0 PPG, 11.1 RPG, FG% 52.3

I wasn't ranking the teams I picked. They were in no particular order!

That's almost a 1990s bulls team. I have no doubt that this team could win a championship.

Hm these rules are confusing but let me see if I can get them right.

I'll start with with:

SG Michael Jordan (Top 50 Player)

Add him with two non-allstars

C Pau Gasol (Non-Allstar, White Guy, Post 1997, Best Season was 20.8/9.8 so he barely misses the 20/10 rule ;P)

PG Derek Harper (Non-Allstar, Best Year 19.7 Points/7.1 Assists/3.0 Rebounds)

Throw in my 2nd Rounder

PF Dennis Rodman (2nd Round Less than 5 ASGs)

Finish off with the best SF i could find that is pre-1997, < 5 allstars and non HOF or top 50:

SF Bernard King

btw i realize this is pretty much the Chicago Bulls late 90s team (that won 72 games), replacing Pippen with King (since you can't take Pippen with Jordan or else the rules won't work) which arguably weakens them a little bit, but Gasol > Luc Longley by far to balance that out.

We've already retired King and Rodman, and we should do the same with Pau Gasol.

Those players are arguably the best SF and PF and 1997 to present big that isn't a 20/10 you can get.

Sorry, your team is NOT accepted. Be more creative next time! hahaha
