http://www.thestar.com/Sports/article/240973 "I'm not coming back cheap," he said. "If you read this article and you think you can get me cheap, there's another thought coming." This guy must be crazy i do not care how good of shape he is in.
HAHAHA that scrub needs to shut his mouth... That boy is trash lol and he thinks he's all that. Who in the world does this old man think he is?
Yall make fun... Ill take a PF who actually plays big. Someone who doesn't flop. Someone who will teach you a lesson when you come into the paint. He probably can't contribute anymore but thats the kind of attitude the league needs back.
Give him a one-year contract and let him room with Chuck Hayes. I'd love for Chuck to get his mean streak. Besides, if we had Mutombo and Oakley guarding the lane, it would strike fear in every player under 35.
He just wants attention for his new book coming out. We saw how old he is several years ago, so I don't see how a comeback is realistic.
man no respect for a man who played at a division 2 school and had a very long and productive career. why do we just beat people up around here?
Unless his fortunes have changed- he is a smart businessman I have read- owns several carwashes and real property in Cleveland or Toledo? area where he is a popular personality. He was a bodyguard to Michael Jordan when visiting Houston All star game
I saw him hanging out by the poolside bar at the Miami Ritz Carlton in May. So, I guess he's not broke. But damn it, guys, he was washed up 3, 4 years ago when he was with the Rockets the first time. He ain't gotten any younger or any less washed up since then. Everybody talks comeback...Pippen sure did, Doug Christie sure did... but will a couple years off really do that much for your body? I doubt it.
Oakley did the most with what he had for a long time. He was a feared player in the paint. I respect what he accomplished-pure effort and attitude
