Resident cheap a$$ here. Excluding game systems, etc etc. You can use this to purchase a digital camera, the xbox hd-dvd drive, or whatever is around $199+ that would be a great deal w/coupon. Reproduction/photocopies not accepted, but usually they work w/o any problems. YMMV.
the restrictions on that coupon are just r****ded so basically if you buy 200 bucks worth of coca cola and candy at the checkout you get 40 bucks off, great!
...or maybe if you can find a good deal on a HD at Fry's, BB, etc., 110% PM it at CC, and then use that coupon - YMMV. Could end up walking out of CC w/ a nice HD for under $100!
i don't know about that. months back i printed a similar coupon twice and used it for 40 bucks off a zune and 40 bucks off the 360 hd-drive. chow yun is right, as long as you have a decent printer you can print it and they'll accept it.
Don't know about what? Look at the restrictions.. no apple products, no notebooks or desktops.. no bose.. no verizon products.. that gets rid of about 90% of the stuff i would want.
yeah but you're post basically tosses it aside as worthless when it's clearly not. those restrictions are aren't anywhere close to being bad at all considering the amount of products that are available over $199 and not restricted. i saved 80 bucks with it, i thought it was fantastic.
Hmm...I do want to get a flat-panel LCD monitor for my PC. How did you save $80 if th coupon is only for $40 off a $200 purchase? Oh, and can I use it for an online purchase?
probably two coupons and two separate receipts of 200 or more. i used this back in dec to buy my xbox hd add on drive when they had the same promotion going on. i may get a lcd monitor for my pc now instead of this ancient monster i have right now
Damn.. wish they had this when I bought my camera for 250.. that would've been a nice 210.. without tax Btw, what does "YMMV" stand for?
Your Mileage May Vary...it might not work in all stores because it is a reproduction/photocopy, not an original.
yeah some stores will be really anal about not giving you the discount if the coupon is printed out like that. though most stores know that will happen and shouldnt mind because if anything the more people have that coupon the more customers they will get buying stuff and stuff that normally wouldnt sell or stay on the shelf long will have a better chance of being bought. like 40 bucks really wont knock much off of a tv, but maybe a pc monitor, video game purchase, dvd/hd/blu-ray player or just a large purchases of accessories that someone has been waiting for to buy.
this is why i'm hot. i'm hot coz i'm fly. you aint coz you not. this is why this is why this is why i'm hot. ok lets just have a discussion about the best looking rockets player. i personally think yao is the best looking one. i mean if i was a girl and i had to select a guy from the rockets team. i'd go for yao. what about you guys?
i printed it twice and used it on two different items, not at the same visit though. 360 hd drive and the zune.
Had a nice little experience at the Circuit City in Jantzen Beach, OR. Went in at 8:30P to buy the Canon SD1000, advertised online for $218. - Two employees, one chick and a guy chatting, so I ask for help. The guy working there volunteers to help me after the girl basically ignores me - The in-store price is listed at $249.99, but the dude offers to do the pricematch, no problem. - So during checkout, I breakout the coupon, and that b**** from earlier blurts out that the coupon is only good for getting a $40 gift card back. I'm like, there's nowhere on there that says anything about that, read it again. - The guy helping me though, is nice enough to double check with the manager and get him to approve the photocopied coupon. - So when I get to the front to checkout, they conveniently forget the pricematch, which I point out. The manager says they can only do one or the other (coupon or pricematch). - I say give me the PM, and I'll use the $40 off coupon for the gift card like he mentioned earlier. However, this causes mass confusion since nobody knows how to enter that in. Finally the since the store's about to close, the manager just gives me the $40 off on top of the $218 making the final price $178 (no sales tax in Oregon).
That's a swell deal. I had one of these coupons for the exact same camera a few months ago, but in the fine print it said no Canon cameras allowed. Then I bought a Circuit City coupon from Ebay for 2 bucks or so which had no restrictions and saved 40 bucks on the Canon SD 1000. Remember, you can always buy these coupons from Ebay as well.
