barkley spoke with reggie theus during the game, in the hallway of the compaq:

    * he says he won't join the team on the sidelines because it's still too frustrating not being able to play; he'd rather stay off the court.

    * he does watch every game and makes his presence known by hanging around the games and calling the players afterwards.

    * he would like to apologize to pippen BUT only if pippen initiates the apology.

    * as a side not, he has 3 months of rehab left.

barkley was barkley. he joked off camera with the announcers and sounded jovial on camera as well.

    boy is he missed.

I saw Chuck at Toc Bar this weekend being his usual self. He was partying with a few people I know and some other people(one b****y woman). I asked him how his leg was doing since his surgery and he said it was fine. He's begun some rehab, but nothing too strenuous.

Tanking is not acceptable. End of story.

3 months of rehab? Does this mean that potentially, if the Rockets DID make a playoff push, that Barkley might be available?

My favorite line of the evening:

When asked about the possibility of kissing and making up with Pippen...

"Well, I'd kiss his lips, and he can kiss another part of my anatomy."

    Damn, I miss him.

    Skiing???? Surely you jest?

If you mean he is doing skiing excercises, then that makes perfect sense. There are a number of skiing excercises that he should be doing after that type of surgery.

    But skiing?

The easiest way to permanently damage and almost assuredly give him a limp for life, would be to traumatically tear that same attachment in a typical ski fall within two years of it's repair.

    You were kidding,right?????

From what I know the rehab he is doing is not for basketball. Its for skiing.

Im sure no one wants Chuck back more then Charles himself but unfortunatly it wont happen.I could however see him suiting up if we made the Finals but the chances of that happening are very, very, very slim.
There is still hope though [IMG]
