Dude, beware what you wish for, the WNBA is really really really bad. I mean, I heard Dr. Kevorkian used to show that stuff to people so they could end life in peace, and in sheer boredom. Other than Wrestling, it's the only sport with an actual disclaimer: May cause early end of life, gouging out of eyes and an inexplicable hatred of Ray Allen.

Dude, nothing is as bad as the WNBA, nothing, not even NASCAR.

I am sorry but after watching the video I am very disappointed. Scola is not what we need at the 4. Even against European competition, he appeared slow in getting off his shot and getting off the ground. To me his game is not even as fluid as that of Chris Mihm. In fact, he's more like Brian Cook with no range. In addition, the guy does not appear to work very hard in getting rebounds. He gets most of his rebounds from the ball bouncing his way. What we need at the 4 is Stromile Swift with brains and heart or Chucky Hayes with 4 more inches, not another high IQ finesse players.

scola, I saw that you posted that photo of Luis stuck at the airport in Argentina. Do you know what are his off-season plans and if the buyout with Tau is still pending or not?

I don't know anything new about his buy out. Nothing about it is in the press here. And there are some quotes of Scola about the National Team, but nothing about the buy out. Its like everything about his arrival to the NBA is over...

Scola is now in Bahia Blanca, Argentina with some of his teammates of the national team. Training in order to prepare to play the Olympic qualifyer in Las Vegas (August 22nd - septiembre 2nd).

I know when i see a smart player. this guy is a very crafty player. just look at hes off the ball movement. on every play he is in a position to eith get a easy bucket or draw a foul. even if he is'nt scoring, he's off the ball movement is amazing. just a very effective player who will thrive in our system.

Personally i thought he'll be only a good role player, but he can be a very good borderline star for us.

If Scola is athletic and has good footwork, why is he an average rebounder?
Is rebounding something coaches can teach? Has there ever been a player that was an average rebounder and the coaches show he new techniques of boxing out, etc, and he ends up being really good....

I just don't see how a power forward that played against heavy competition being one of the main scorers winning the gold medal can be considered soft or not that good.... He's got to be pretty good for GMs and scouts to consistently call him one of the best players in Europe.
