So if you're starting a retail store, what are good products to sell?

    I'm talking something you can buy cheap (preferably small, light and to ship from overseas) and sell high. anyone have any ideas? I'm living in Japan..there has to be a market for something here which will sell like hotcakes. These guys and girls spend money like there's no tomorrow.

    Anyone thinking of starting a business? share some ideas. thanks :)

    thats a good idea actually. a friend of mine lives in Thailand and frequents China. So he buys these products and sells back home. He's makin' a killing. Unfortunately I'm not living in those countries so it's either I gotta find something cheap to sell from Japan to Australia (my hometown) or other parts of the world, or vice versa.

    Selling from Japan to Oz would be better since I don't have to pay for shipping goods before I sell them! Anyone thinkin' of starting some sort of business within the clutchfans community"? hehe

    start a sex shop with things like dvds, dildos, etc. they love that type of stuff and it is easy to make and very profitable so i have been told.

    or get into collectible type stuff. premium collector item stuff like jeans, watches, etc.

    Have you considered hotcakes? I've looked everywhere for hotcakes and can never find them, either they sell out really quickly or everyone is looking to sell something like hotcakes but can never get around to selling the hotcakes themselves.

    How about American candy? hopefully, the time they figure out that it sucks, it'll be too late.

    OK, here's my idea and if anyone uses it to make lots of money, be sure and throw me a decent percentage...

    Vitamin-enhanced beer.

    Guys hate taking pills but like beer. Combine the two and get the best of both.

    Before I came to Japan, I thought used panties were abundant but was I wrong. Anyways this is funny cos most used panties were probably worn by guys hahahaha in any case I haven't seen any around the Tokyo area :D

    Apparently, used panties with girls photos on them is worth a lot more. with stains...that's another story
