Was the Rockets playing last night. It D@$m sure didn't look like basketball. Man they look like $#!%. They're keeping everyone in the game. Steve turns the ball over tooo much and Cat take some dumb a$$ shots. They won't be 5-1 long if they continue play like that!!!! I love them but they gotta start playing smarter!!! Thank God for KT and T-Rex last night!
I guess your right huh...But after tonight come 8 straight games that will alter our win/loss column. Where we play S.A., LAL, DAL, SAC, POR, SEA, LAC and SAC before we close the month with Memphis. We keep playing like this and 6-9....
BigDog, meet ZRB. ZRB, meet BigDog. You two have a lot in common, none of which is faith in the Rockets.
Big Dog, Im with you on this one. I go to school in St. Louis, so the only games I get to watch are the nationally shown games. The Rockets looked really bad. Sixers did not have Iverson or snow, and we barely won. The wizards beat the sixers by 20. Im not saying they arent a good team, but they need to do a lot of work before we can talk about them beating the top western teams.
You do have to factor in the Sixers' 0-5 record, their hunger for a win, and the law of averages though. Never underestimate the law of averages... a win is a win is a win
BigDog, meet Behad. Behad has what is known as "sunshiney fan syndrome". He is so blindly optimistic, that he can never, ever, point out a flaw in the Rockets' play. He thinks my prediction of 9-3 over the next twelve games is too negative. He thought last night's game was an example of pure, beautiful basketball that should be cherished.
Winning "ugly" is a skill like any other, a skill the Rockets appear to have learned, and for that I am pleased. And, I think all Rocket's wins are beautiful. Infinetly more beautiful than even the most pretty of losses.
