    Yao/Deke/Butler
    Haslem/Scola/Hayes/Novak
    Battier/Bonzi/Novak/Reed
    T-Mac/Francis/Bonzi/Head
    James/Francis/Brooks

Of course I'm assuming that Skip and Sura will be gone for sure (Haslem?), along with JLIII, and maybe Head and/or Snyder. I know that Morey really wanted to include Reed in the Minny deal so I kept him on the final roster...

The main idea would be to try to keep James and Francis from being on the floor at the same time... or until we play PHX.

What makes you think t-mac and bonzi will have the best chemistry on the floor? I don't remember wells even playing much last year.

because their games complement each other so well. we didnt see much of bonzi but the little time he was on the court with t-mac, t-mac was dishing him some sweet passes, kind of like he did with chuck hayes, except bonzi is a much better finisher and all around player. they're both smart players and good passers and trust me they'll have great chemistry. plus adelman said he was interested in playing t-mac and bonzi at the same time.

    1st Team:
    PG - Rafer
    SG - McGrady
    SF - Battier
    PF - Scola
C - Mutombo... just kidding. Yao

I'm actually struggling with PG - we have 5 PGs on this team, and I don't really want any of the to start. I really envision Steve and Mike James coming off the bench... SO:

    2nd Team:

    PG - James
    SG - Francis
    SF - Wells
    PF - Hayes
    C - Mutombo

This said, I would really like to see them move Rafer, which I guess would slide Steve to the first team. Hope he starts honing some passing skills... You know he's not the 'Franchise', I know he's not the 'Franchise'... does he? Let's hope so.

Not on the roster because of trades/cuts: Alston, Reed, Snyder, Sura, Harris

    First Five
    Yao
    Hayes
    Shane
    TMac
    Alston

    Second Four
    Scola
    Wells
    James
    Stevie

    End of the Bench
    Butler
    Snyder
    Brooks

    Rotation
I think we will end up going small ball most of the time outside of our starter. Alson, James and Stevie rotating in the PG/SG spots with TMac starting at the SG but spending most of his time rotating with Shane and Wells at the SF. Yao, Hayes and Scola will round out the bigs. Shane will spend some time at PF and if the bench is stretched a bit Butler will get in the game.

    MJ/T-Mac/Battier/Scola/Yao
    Franchise/Bonzi/Hayes/Butler/Deke

Big 2nd unit. Franchise and Bonzi make up for scoring liabilities Deke and Hayes. If Hayes doesn't return or if Butler ends up sucking, make that one
    AB/Franchise/Bonzi/Hayes or Butler/Deke.

    PG: Alston
    SG: Francis
    SF: McGrady
    PF: Hayes
    C: Yao

    Second Unit:
    PG: James
    SG: Wells
    SF: Battier
    PF: Scola
    C: Deke

Adelman has said that he doesn't want to play Wells at the 3 because he loses his size advantages. McGrady goes to the three due to the amount of players we have that can play the three and are deserving of minutes. Battier subsequently moves to the bench. Hayes starts as more of a stabilizer with Scola playing more minutes overall. Rafer gets the team in rhythm while Mike James gives us the boost. Francis at the two to keep an extra play-maker on the court at all times.

This is the line-up that makes me say: "****! We are loaded with talent!"

    Yao
    Bonzi
    Shane
    TMac
    SF3

That line-up just screams out mismatches!

it surprises me that scola is starting for like 90% of you. but i guess this is "favorite lineup", so about 70% of you last year probably put V-span or JL3 as your starting pg last year, which i guess isn't that bad though jl3 had a hot summer against scrubs basically. anyway mine--

    PG steven francisco
    SG tracy mcgrady
    sf shane battier
    pf chuck hayes
    center yao ming

i almost put bonzi in plays of hayes as sf#2, and haslem trumps hayes if we get him, as does foster

Using the present line up which includes Head & Alston (Who might get traded)

Starting position followed by back ups:

    Alston, Brooks
    Francis, James
    Mac G, Wells
    Scola, Hayes
    Yao, Butler

Role players- Mutombo, Battier, Head and Novac
If Alston is traded for a versatile Power Forward then the Picture Changes:-

Brooks James Back ups would be our small ball speedy team
Wells Francis starters would be our Power team
    MacG Snyder
    Scola New Player
    Yao Butler
Defensive Role players Battier & Hayes
    Reserves Harris, Novac & Landry
