Does anyone know how to make tuition payments to UH? I have searched high and low on their website and everything leads me to PeopleSoft, where I can't find the function where I can pay my fees. They have a link for "optional fees," such as parking permits and buying yearbooks. I'm just trying to figure out how to pay my tuition right now, so I can access the "uh.edu" e-mail. I've called the people at UH and no one seems to know very much. This one guy told me tuition is not due til August 17th. I said I understood, but could I pay it earlier? He seemed confused at first but then assured me that the only day I could pay it is on the 17th. This seems unlikely, does anyone know for sure how exactly one goes about paying your tuition? I'm just kind of frustrated because the two schools I attended before made tuition payment possible in the early summer. Thank you.
underground Cullen building is where i last paid my tuition. is there not a phone number you can call to pay? it's been awhile since iv'e gone so not sure. there are so many new buildings i can't tell what is what.
I have always paid (including for Summer '07) using their "Enrollment Services Online" site. I believe that starting this fall, those services will be transferred over to Peoplesoft. I guess they just haven't completed the transition to the new site yet.
Ahh. That would explain a lot with the holes on that site and the lack of knowledge that the tech help people have. Thank you. They'll probably have the tuition payment option soon. me sux at patience.
dude, i would suggest you go visit the Welcome Center in the Parking Garage...its always easier to do it in person
I don't think you can pay in person or by mail anymore it's all electronic. And I'm having the same problem with finding out where I'm supposed to pay. I guess they haven't fully moved the payment stuff over to PeopleSoft.
ive paid every single dollar ive ever owed to UH via enrollment services online use askshasta, it helps
The enrollment center is now the 1st floor of the parking garage. It is located umm, across the street from the rec center, next to the hilton hotel, diagonal from the university center and across from bauer aka melcher hall.
I've asked Shasta, the dumbass doesn't know anything. The answers keep leading me back to PeopleSoft...EVERYTHING labeled "Pay Fees" leads me back to PeopleSoft...but there's no option to pay tuition. Yes, but only so I can hang out with Miguel and Kam and go see Rockets games. (This site influences my life way too much...)
dave, i only met you once, but u kno u my homeboy...we have to hang out for sure. I'm not sure why your number is in my phone, but it's there, under Dave2000, so theres no way in hell i'm missing another suite party. I want to go to get togethers and watching parties and all that fun stuff... here's my gay problem though: I'm living on campus and I don't have a car. it's like i'm reverting back to being a freshman. :-/ But believe me, I will WALK the three and a half miles to the Toyota Center if I can manage to afford tickets...
twice (BW3s last year for like 10-15 mins i was there, to watch the Astros/White Sox game?) and its cause I got your number from Mig to txt you and get Kam's number. Yea, I am just a stalker like that (had to explain before moe kicks my ass)
*tells Dave to hide the camera Dude, how could you badmouth Shasta? You're losing points, Shan. Shasta rocks.
I don't want to reveal too much here, but let's just say I am in the know at UH. Fee bills will be posted at the latest by August 7th based on classes that you have enrolled in by August 1st according to the PeopleSoft people I have spoken with on campus. It is ESSENTIAL that you pay your fee bill by August 14th at 5 PM. Failure to pay the fee bill will result in all your classes being dropped. In the past, when students were dropped for non-payment, the classes were not released for other students to enroll in but rather held in a sort of payment purgatory. If you paid the bill by a certain date the class would be reinstated. THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE with the new PeopleSoft system. If you do not pay for the classes by the 14th, they really are gone. BTW, what is your major?
Dear students, Your account has been calculated and is ready for you to view. In order to view your account for the fall 2007 term you may go to: https://my.uh.edu/psp/paprd/?cmd=login You must either pay in full; or, sign up for the appropriate Payment Plan no later than 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 14, 2007. You can sign up for the appropriate pay plan immediately. Just follow the prompts in the self service portal. An explanation of the pay plans is available at the Student Financial Services website (http://www.uh.edu/sfs/) Additionally, anyone in the Student Financial Service area of the Welcome Center should be able to assist you. You may also pay in person at the cashiering office found in E. Cullen basement, Room 6. http://www.uh.edu/campus_map/buildings/E.html Please be aware that if you are expecting either a waiver or third party contract to appear on your account, this will be added as the respective credit is processed. If you have questions regarding Financial Aid you need to speak with a representative of that office in the Welcome Center. http://www.uh.edu/campus_map/buildings/WC.html You also should consider that any unpaid prior balances will not appear on your account until approximately the second week in September. These balances will be due in full on the next scheduled installment due date. If you need to pay a prior balance then you may do so online at: https://www.stu.uh.edu/uoh/newmenusys/intro.jsp In the event that you fail to pay the full amount or enter into a payment plan by the due date; you will lose enrollment in your courses and will have to begin the registration process from the beginning. There is no guarantee that all of your requested courses will remain available. Thank you. University of Houston Student Financial Services Edit: Its going to cost me $4575 for 15 hours this fall?? That sounds like a huge increase.
