totally clueless why appreciating a low risk/cost acquisition is somehow indicative of "selective memories"?

Well, Hillboy was among those blasting Morey for drafting Brooks and trading for James. He knows of what he speaks...

Haslem has what it takes to bond with all the talent the ROX have. He's a perfect fit in my opinion.

We must be trying to pull a 2nd round pick for JLIII. Their pick will probably in the 40s. Go Morey Go!

We are waiting on the Hornets and Pargo to sign. If Pargo signs with the Hornets, the JLIII deal is dead. If he signs with Miami, the Alston deal will be dead. I wonder if this means the Foster deal is still alive.

    The Times-Picayune

    Still in pursuit

The Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers and Hornets remain interested in signing Pargo, who averaged 9.2 points last season while playing in all 82 games with the Hornets.

If the Hornets don't re-sign Pargo, they could pursue Houston backup guard John Lucas in a trade. Lucas has one year remaining on his contract with the Rockets.

If Pargo's asking price is too much for the Hornets they might be best served by acquiring Lucas III for a future second rounder or probably take our second round pick back when we traded for Snyder.

why all the desire for Foster?

Oft-injured, no good. I'd rather have Mutumbo, he's more durable.

Haslem, now thats another story!! Young aggressive and so far durable.

    Yes please.

Getting Foster doesn't mean Mutumbo won't be resigned, since Foster can play either PF or C. Mutumbo will probably not sign a contract for longer than a year. Butler's contract expires next year, I believe. Leaving the Rockets with no backup C, except Hayes.

Mutumbo can play. Ya you're right much better than Foster. In fact, have we ever seen Mutumbo on the court at the same time as Yao???

Not exactly. He is a very very good offensive rebounder, and is very sound defensively. Think chuck hayes, but with 5 more inches. That's a huge difference.

Actually, Id rather have Pargo sign with the Hornets so the ONLY market is Rafer Alston for Miami and Indiana.

I love Mutombo, but I would rather have Foster, at this point in their careers.

Plus, with Mutombo you don't get rid of any players and I want Rafer GONE.....

Would there be room for Rafer in Indy? They are backcourt heavy (numbers) and front court lite.

If Indy plans on trading J O'N, then what?
