As of Now. we have at least a Top 2 backCourt
    IMO the best

    Spurs - Parker, GiFLOPbili, Finley
Mavs - Terry, Harris, stackhouse [?]
    Suns - Nash, Barbosa, Flopper
    Rockets - T-Mac, Francis, MJames

ok the rest of the west is not relevent in this convo
[yes even Kobe . . even the clippers]
cause those are the three teams we trying to catch

    I like our chances

Man the Spurs look like they have the most efficient backcourt in the league. I'm not sure if MJ is at par with some of those guys.. we'll have to see.

I dont know about best backcourt... But we definitely have the nastiest swing position. McGrady, Francis, Wells, Battier, Head.

I agree with you that our backcourt is good enough, but still, we do not have a solution to Duncan at this moment. Like T-Mac said in his interview, we still need a PF who can do the dirty work and defend.

I want to go into training camp with Scola, Hayes and perhaps Butler for the PF minutes. Scola should be given a chance to show what he can do. I am optimistic because he is 27 year old, mature and shows a legit game.

If by mid season we feel Scola hasn't shown enough, we can deal for a veteran PF. Scola presents a great value under the cap if he becomes what we think he will. From a championship roster development standpoint, you need several rotation players that outperform their contracts. We have several possibilities:

    Francis
    Wells
Battier (outperform or equal to contract value)
    Scola
    Butler
    Brooks[/LEFT]
