It amazes me that an owner can pay a player millions of dollars a year to win games and then the player goes out and horses around to try to get on tv. Man, I'm glad I don't have to babysit some of these guys.

Man, I think two key things stood out from the interviews.

1. Morey and Les has been to Steve's house everyday for the past 4 days. Man, is that effort or something. And Morey didn't even reveal it to us. Like people said, he keeps his cards really really close to his chest. I mean, until news broke out, everyone still thought Steve Francis was considering FOUR teams. Looks like the Rockets had been leaders for quite a while.

2. Francis said that he made up his mind a few days ago!!! This tells you two things. One, Morey and Les really know what to do. I mean, if they got T-Mac and Yao to talk to him last week, imagine how long they have been courting Steve Francis to come back to Houston. Secondly, that inside info we got from Ballboy1 was spot on... really spot on. I am just damn curious how he got that info

I believe that we have one of the finest GMs in the league working for us right now. And he is what... only 36? I hope he can build a dynasty for us

 

Not really...he said it would have been poor management to only focus on getting Steve as our big offseason move, because of all the things that were required to happen (which ultimately did happen).

You can read that as a way of saying we wouldn't have done the MJ trade if we knew SF3 was coming, but that's about it.

 

you know you own the town when you can call out the ringing cell in the middle of a press conference. the mood is so happy, everybody is stoked to have this guy back! talk about a complete rebirth for a fading star

with a falling reputation around the league, the rockets seem an obvious choice for him if u ask me, considering how he was hated/benched/flamed by the ny crowd and most other media. only in houston could sf3 successfully land a "save a bunch of money by switching to geico" quip. laugh riot

I agree, but if MJ has no issue to be Steve's backup, I think that's still a good move. But if he only wants to start, that's another story.

 

It would be great if you could pause the video and let it buffer while paused so you could watch the entire video without it stuttering or stopping.

I just hope not to see any unhappy players. Hopefully Steve and MJ don't get into it, and they both get somewhat equal playing time.

I agree. I was watching the tmac interviews and those are long so I had to pause them sometimes, but then the video just stops. You can't even reload it. You have to refresh the page. You should be able to pause the video, otherwise that defeats the purpose of having a pause button.

 

Funny... why isn't Adelman or Les there with Daryl and Steve?

Disregard the refresh the page part as I was mistaken and you can return to the beginning of the video. However, the pause button doesn't work, since you cannot resume the video once paused. You must rewatch from the beginning.
