Luther for Barnes (I like that)
JLIII + Alston for Diogu (Indiana needs PG 's)

    PF: Scola/Diogu/Hayes/Landry (D-league) ... :D

This team is two moves away from a dream offseason, wrong moves however.

    1. Houston Rockets trades John Lucas, Kirk Snyder Bob Sura, and a first round pick (08) to Seattle for Chris Wilcox and Johan Petro.

Chris Wilcox is the ideal athletic PF the Rockets are looking for. He is somewhat in the Stromile Swift mode, a very inconsistent player, but he is bigger and a better basketball player.

Petro might be a decent backup to Yao. He has good size and offensive skills but is still pretty raw.

    2. Houston Rockets trades Rafer Alston, Shane Battier, Luther Head, and a first round pick (10) to Sacremento for Ron Artest and Shareef Abdur-Rahim.

Reunite Ron Artest with his buddy Bonzi Wells and former coach Rick Adelman.

no thanks to both trades. wilcox is horribly overrated and petro hasnt shown any signs hes going to be a servicable big man.

as for the 2nd one, id prefer battier over artest they are almost complete polar opposites off the court while both possess outstanding defensive prowess. + battier has the 3pt shot while artest does not.

Wilcox is overrated but he is probably the best big man you can get for basically nothing.

Udonis Haslem is not realistic because the Heat cannot trade their best PF. If you want Haslem, you probably have to eat White Chocolate's contract or Antoine Walker (shoots waaaay too much).

Tell me a legit PF that's better then Wilcox that the Rockets can acquire?

I like Battier but I don't know how much he fits Adelman's system anymore. Artest is younger

Ron Artest has been on the trade market for a while, that is not a surprise. As stated before, he has a connection with Bonzi Wells and Rick Adelman.

The Sonics are in complete-rebuilding mode. Bob Sura and Kirk Snyder are expiring contracts they can use.

Wilcox is an athletic and legit PF that can compliment Yao Ming.

I think we should just trade what we have left in our roster for cash and future picks. Since we're stacked now we should trade for the future since this could help us financially in the future. Make it work moneyball Morey.

I don't think there is a chance the Maloof Goofs are going to trade Artest to Adelman

Rafer, Head, Sura + Future 2nd Rounder for Camby

Denver gets another suitable PG + 3 point shooting threat in Luther. Some salary cap space by buying out Sura.

We get Camby, great defensive PF that cna also backup center.

Camby would be a solid addition but I doubt the Nuggets would give him to a Western Conference foe.

They would dump Kenyon Martin IMO.

We are two trades away from a DREAM offseason for sure:

    The two trades are:

    JL3 for Garnett
    Reed for Kobe.

Well the PF's that have been mentioned are Jeff Foster, Marcus Camby, Chris Wilcox, Kenyon Martin,

Foster is a solid rebounder, not much else. He played in the weak Eastern Conference and next to Jermaine O'Neal, which probably padded his numbers.

Marcus Camby is a impact player who was the DPOY. But he is 33 and has durability concerns. A better option then Foster but why would the Nuggets help the Rockets?

Kenyon Martin is a talented player who brings an attitude at the 4 but he is coming off microfracture surgery and has an insane contract.

Wilcox is 24 and has the most upside/potential at of all these players. Inconsistent player but remember, the Sonics didn't have a legit center on their roster last year that could play. In his half-season with the Sonics, when he played next to Robert Swift, he averaged 14 points and 8 boards. Next to Yao he could do some damage.

I would definitely do the Head and Sura deal, but I wouldn't trade James away.

The problem with Jeff Foster is that the other team can just double team Yao... Foster has 0 offensive game.... and that was in the Eastern Conference!

That's why I am also proposing to bring in Haslem to give us some in-between shooting. Scola has that tool as well. Foster can play PF and that's a plus for us. Primarily I envision him to be the backup C and replacing Yao if he has to sit out. Foster is a rebounding machine, east or west. With so many weapons on this roster, we need his bule collar attitude. The Yao/Deke/Scola/Hayes front court to me is a little thin. I will be pefectly content if only one two trades going down however.
