Does anyone think Tmac's comment on SF (about being humble) was a bit too offensive? I know he should be humble. But I'd be pissed if I was told like that.

I think what he's saying is that he's glad SF3 is here, but he needs to know his role and understand Mac is in charge. He's also saying that Sf3 has gone through a lot of **** in route back home, and now all sf3 wants is to win.

I don't think Mac would be so surprised/elated that Steve was back if he truly didn't want him back.

We should thank Isiah Thomas for that. Keep going, Isiah, let something like that happen again in the future :)

dude got 30 mill to go away and then go back to his first team and transplanted home, I don't think he's pissed right now...

"For 30 mill, T can call me an idiot, don't matter baby, can you spell 30 million?? Better yet can you count it for me, I gotta hit my usual nightspots and spend it on my women..."

Tracy has to be one of the happiest guys on the planet. He goes from having to initiate every bit of offense, to having a new coach with a system that does some of that for him, another low post threat, and two or three new guards that can penetrate and score.

Knowing that Steve Francis would be back, my biggest worry is tmac, not knowing what he would think about that.
After watching this video, I am greatly moved. Happy that tmac is really happy about this!

Wow, an awesome interview. TMAC seemed geniunely excited about the prospects of his future team.

Who would have thought 2 months ago the Rockets would have literally transformed their team so much? Bonzi, SF3, Mike James, Scola, Butler, Aaron Brooks, Carl Landry, Coach Adelman...wow! No question Rafer, JL3, Luther, Chuck Hayes, Deke, and Snyder gotta be considered "on the bubble". I can't think of another Rockets team to include the championship years, that the team was so deep with talent.

Morey definently has a mess on his hands on who is going to get rid of.

    This is crazy.

The only thing tempering my excitement about the upcoming season is that I'm probably going to be travelling a lot with work and won't be able to make it to a lot of games :(

    Go Rox!! :D

Kirk Snyder is a mystery man... clearly atheletic, his teammates and the GM Morey like him. But mistake prone to a degree that both JVG and Byron Scott had their doubts about him. Byron played him some more than JVG did, but that didn't stop them from giving him up for free, either.

I don't know, now that the Rockets have plenty of veteran depth at the 2 and the 3, that Snyder wouldn't be trade bait soon.

Great job hilltopper, it's members like you that give this board an edge over any other sports fan bbs.

Love Tmac's reaction too, similar to people who just found out they got punked on camera or something.

And I got to give credit to Tmac being pretty honest. Truthfully he's mirrored a few of the concerns fellow posters have mentioned here: Scola may not be a good enough rebounder, will Francis really be humble enough to play team ball, and he basically implied that JVG's offense was really stagnant and didn't give some people much of a chance.

Any chance Yao & Tmac show up at Stevie's press conference tomorrow? It will be like watching the lions transforming to form Voltron.

    Good video.
They pulled no punches. Talked about Stevie pounding the ball onto the floor until the clock ran out the last time he was here and how he was traded to 3 diff teams and written off and how that should make him humbled.
Be humble Steve and work with the team, you will be a great asset.
