Sounds good to me. We need to cut players, 2 for 1 is good. Yao/Deke/Butler Foster/Scola/Hayes Battier/Tmac/Snyder Tmac/Bonzi/SF SF/MJ/Brooks We have intellegence, muscle, hustle, dribble, dumb in that line up. It's going to be fun. Adelman is going to be the happiest coach.
I think getting artest maybe in the work. after these trades and signing, I think we are now lacking a solid starter who can play the 3 and 4. Think about it, who is our best PG now? possible SF SG? Tmac SF, if tmac at the 2? Battier? artest, would be ideal. PF, Scola a rookie? he's good, but not yet, maybe toward the end of the season. artest can play the 4
If he doesn't get GM of the Year, how about Rookie of the Year? I bet he'll have done more to help his team than either Durant or Oden.
Keep Head! trade rafer! Head has more potential and talent than Rafer... Luther can turn out to be our RIP hamilton in the future
me neither. GATER is one of the most intelligent posters on here, he's just been pouty since the battier trade. hopefully he actually likes the team now.
The board was saying the same thing about CD after the Swift-Alston-Anderson summer. Don't jinx him. But I am impressed.
Yeah, the difference is that none of them have ever been 3-time All-stars or MVP in the Spanish League.
You're surely not comparing Swift-Alston-Anderson with Francis-Bonzi back-Mike James(for Juwan)-Scola(for Span)-Brooks-Adelman
A little off-topic, but I felt exactly the same way GATER did about Gay/Battier, still do (see sig), and until last week, it still bothered me. Now? After Scola and Franchise? I'm finally over the Gay trade. The Brooks/Scola moves tell me that finally, the team is embracing a longer-term, big picture outlook.
all jokes aside, Morey is most definitely the Executive of the Year next year. We will be a 60-win team next season and you can just script it on his trophy. And I believe he still has got something inside his sleeves. Smart guy who knows math is the way to run an organization. Ex-players who are stupid (read Otis Smith, Danny Ainge, Isiah Thomas...and much more) cannot.
