On 790 he stated he knows that the Rockets are going a different direction and he is out of here. Bye Rafer. Thanks for your contributions.
Nice guy, and a decent PG, who was asked to do more than he probably should have been asked to do.... Good luck Rafer. DD
i feel bad for rafer. if only he knew how to hit the open shots and finish at the rim rather than the floaters, we wouldn't be doing all of this. sorry rafer. it's not ur fault though. u did an admirable job in fact. we just going for the championship. u are not a championship caliber starter.
Very astute observation by rafer. He sees the rockets are going in the direction of not to suck and well rafer sucks.
I heard it also... Rafer basically said the writing is on the wall. He hasn't talked to the Rockets but he can read between the lines and it looks like they're going in another direction. He sounded pretty mature about it.
Someone caught up with with him for a short interview. He said the Rockets haven't told him anything formally but it is just common knowledge.
as far as im concerned this is a lie. Ive been listening to 790, and no such thing has been spoken of........ IBTL
Really? I must have missed it. Been listening to Charlie Palillo since 3... Perhaps it was in a sports flash?
For guy that was thought to be a trouble maker, he was nothing but a true professional here in H-Town. He was good to the community and the media. I wish Rafer nothing but the best take care.
He didn't say he was out of here yet! but he did say you can just read between the lines and know what direction they are headed. He said he understands it's a business and that they are trying to win a championship ... Also when 790 phoned him they asked if the Rockets Org. asked him about being traded or about the deals.. And he said no but they didnt need to because he can read between the lines...
Who is younger, Rafer or Steve? If Steve is younger and more talented, Rafer's leaving is a no brainer.
