Guys I'd rather be complaining about being overstacked with talent, than complaining about not having enough talent.
Passion!!! That's what we are looking for all these years. Now I'm interesting to see what Yao would say about his big brother SF3 after he wakes up.
We give him 2.4 plus a raise next year of around 2.6 = $6 million. He has a player option for next year. This deal is basically identical to Bonzi's.
I think Francis has been humbled, and he spoke with both Yao and McGrady before signing on, so I don't think there will be problems there. The biggest worry I have is Mike James. He's a bit of a hard head that might feel threatened by the signing of Francis. I'm really hoping James doesn't blow up on us, because that would be an expensive burden.
Does this mean we can start arguing again? I am stunned. I am not sure I believe it. Mike James can't believe it for sure. It's not a belated April's fools joke is it? No, I don't believe it. Somebody is pulling our leg.
On a side note NBA 2K8 comes out in October. I bet our roster will be outdated. Im going to have to make a bunch of trades now and new players will have to be created. Not too happy about that.
Wow, and to think just a few weeks ago we were all advocating gutting the roster to get Rashard Lewis. Now we have the deepest team in the league not named Dallas and we didn't have to give up anything other than a few 2nd rounders, Juwan Howard, and V-Span who wasn't gonna be playing for us next season anyway. And to top it all off, the Magic are paying 20 mil a year for Rashard's services. Amazing freaking job by Morey. And we're still in mid-July. You know he's not done yet. The only thing that can derail this team now is major injuries. If they're not at least in the Western Conference Finals, it'll be a major disappointment.
have you ever seen Francis try to run a fast break? it's one of those that make you go...."no, no, no.....YES!"
