How about trading Luther Head and Rafer Alston to the Clippers for Mobley?

The Clippers really do need a PG and Head would fill in Mobley's spot.

I really don't think it's that far fetched. Not sure about the salaries though...

Mobley would be a great fit for us too!

They joked about this on 790am about an hour ago.

They said it was a done deal, but apparently not.

I havent found any validity to their comments, so I guess it was a joke.

    But that would be SSSWWWEEEEEETTTTTTT!!!

Luther is still like 24, cat is too old and would be a loss. Luther Head still can bring much more into his game..

Cat is bigger and a better shoot and more clutch.

Cat is older but who cares if there is a chance get him. This team is built to win for 3-4 years then its going back to rebuilding, so get all the pieces needed to make a run now!

Yeah, that would be great, since we had so much playoff success while he was here. Let's bring Cato and Moochie back too...

Maybe the Texans can find a way to get David Carr back?

r u serious??? trade a younger, more humble version of Cat for the older knucklehead who still thinks he can hit a shot from any angle on any spot on the floor?

When they were here before they were the first and second options. With the current team it'd be fine if they were the seventh and eighth. If we can't find a solid role player 4/5 instead, I'm all for getting Cat back. He's talented and he's all heart.

Check Francis's stats after being seperated from Mobley. Its worth bringing Cat back.

I was for bringing Cat back when I first heard about it, but then someone posted his contract. 9M+ a year for 3 years. That would make any tweaking we need to do next year next to impossible. Looks like Morey is into low risk/high reward moves not high risks moves.

Didn't you want to keep Rafer yesterday?

This team doesn't need Mobley, they need another competent big man though.

I would also love to bring Cat back but not with that JHo-bad contract. With what the Rockets now have available to trade (guards, guards, and more guards. And Novak), there's too much that could be brought to this team beyond SGs who will be 3 deep in the rotation. And, most importantly, we can save the money to use when we have to re-sign people. =D

No wonder why this is a choke city, sportsfans like to hire people that they like, not the right mix of people capable of pulling off a win.
