Is it a trade or did we cut him? What are we getting in return?

I'm sure he was cut, although I'd like to think we got something for him.

NO is under the cap, so we'll end up getting a TE? Sweet.

Thanks for the info NBAHOU713. They're a little under the cap, so they could absorb his salary. Probably a second rounder or cash considerations. Vinicius would be nice though.

Good for both JL3 and the Rockets.....probably something like a future 2nd rounder that we can then send to SA in the Scola deal.

I'll take the TE like we got from them in the Maciej Lampe deal.

In return for Lucas III, Morey gets to name those experimental X-13 doritos?

Seemed like a good guy, good shooter, but just didn't really need him.

Hopefully he will get some playing time in NO and show what he's got.

Why the hell would we cut him in July? That's just an asinine assumption. We are not going to give him away. He's a decent player. There are teams that want him and his particular skill set. My prediction is a 2nd round draft pick. Maybe a TE.

I hope your source is correct. NO would be a good team for JL3. He could be a decent backup for Paul. It was obvious that he was going to be lost in the shuffle in Houston as soon as they drafted Brooks.

    I hope he does well!!

Thanks, guy! You are the man. They love undersized PGs in Atlanta. They have 5'11" Speedy Claxton there. Acie Law starts and JLIII is 3rd string.

future 2nd + a useless TE. Nice anyway - cut down 1 roster.
