I dont know whats taboo on these boards yet, so let me know if we dont discuss this here. I do think the power rankings are the closest thing to how college football teams are ranked, just shows you how bad it is for college football. The good thing is NBA power rankings are just for fun.

I like the Rockets ranking, I like the low ranking for the Blazers, Sonics, and Jazz. I would put the Spurs below us at number 8, and I am definitely not convinced about the Magic at number 7. I also think the bucks should be lower, but how much i dont know. I give the West an advantage over any East team. I think we will end up with a better record than the Timberwolves, but will struggle in the head-to-head match-up.

I think the Jazz will sneak back up the rankings, albeit they will not catch up to the rockets...i think a number four or five seed is not out of the question.

p.s. ou is going to throw the boom on A&M

the same boom that ou through on A&M last year...that loss last year was due to Slocum not utilizing Toombs at crucial points in the game last year and Farris remarkable ability to create a turnover at the most inoportune time. seriously, ou may be a better team, but don't think for one second it won't be close
